Classic diner in this small town. All of the staples of a diner breakfast are available; egg sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, omelettes, corned beef hash, but not much beyond that. Food was basic, maybe even a bit bland, but Louisiana hot sauce and salt and pepper can fix that. Better to do the basics well than reach out and stumble?

Service was good, attentive, and coffee was refilled many times. Bathrooms were clean as well.

Cash only, inconvenient,...
Excellent food with good friends at this cozy family-owned mainstay in rural Illinois. Be sure to stop by the Lincoln Highway Association Museum across the street. Do not miss Muda's homemade pies.
Classic small town egg joint. Service was great. Very clean. Food was uncreative but hot and tasty. Average prices get you an average meal. You get exactly what you pay for. No complaints.
