Spent the day in Galena last Saturday with less than desirable food and service the entire day. Started the trip back home and decided to Google spots to eat. The pizza is definitely a good choice. Cozy atmosphere with piano man. Service was fast and efficient. Pleasant staff.
I do not recommend the large Caesar salad. It's just a big bowl of romaine lettuce with dressing on the side. It's more of a deconstructed Caesar salad missing some key ingredients.
It's not Maggianos but it's a good second and close to home.
We will stick with the pizza. Really delicious
First time visitor, brought by boyfriend that has raved about cannova's for years. this was the most horrible experience we have ever had. service was horrible. ordered 3 pizzas and one was incorrect. pizzas had zero flavor, literally nothing but blah. honestly don't think our dogs (or pot belly piggy) would even each this crap. server repeated the order and it was correct but came out wrong. server forgot to get refills when asked as well. 2 other tables next to ours were also...read full review
