I LOVE DUCKMANS!!! I’ve been here at least 30+ times since trying it for the first time 2 years. It’s a bit of drive for me but worth it!! The young man who helps me is always nice and helpful!! I need to try more things but the jerk chicken,oxtails,goats and sides are just perfect!

This place was honestly a hidden gem in Freeport. I've driven by many times before during shifts but I'd highly recommend giving it a chance. This is the convenience of home style food with a flavor you're missing on your own. Give them a shot, try the rice. Delicious.

I live nearby but i had never gone until today and my food was delicious! reasonably priced too i feel like a got a steal for the quantity and quality. I was going to just get white rice with my curry but the man who took my order suggested their spiced “dirty rice” and i was super happy with it :)

The best meal I’ve had in Freeport!!! This place was absolutely amazing. We loved everything we got from the rib tips to the j*** chicken to the j*** wings. All the sides we tried were delicious as well. The candied yams were out of this world. The man who who helped us out was really nice as well. We will be returning soon.

Stopped by with a little time to burn, only ate here 2 times so told bro to give me whatever for $15 and he sent me home loaded up in 10 min on the dot, super friendly people. great flavors, the spicy choice for sauce is nice and hot, but has a sweetness behind it that makes you go back for more, oxtail is good, not dry, same story with the chicken wings, all of it falls right off the bone. you can tell they make the banana pudding pretty fresh, bananas still had crispness to them and the wafers were still crispy, nice touch thank you will be back soon!

I tried this restaurant a couple of times while visiting Illinois this past winter, and it was great each time. We ordered the Oxtails and Jerk Chicken, they were both flavorful and better than I expected from a small city. 7 months later I'm back again for the jerk chicken, and it is better than the first time we ate here. It's 40 min detour off of I-90 that is worth the time. I will definitely be back as long as the food remains top quality.
