If i could give this so called restaurant a zero i would. I was very upset with my food. Coming to freeport, from Tennessee I was horribly disappointed with my order.

This was our first time eating here. The food was wonderful. Home cooked meal at its finest. Great prices and the owners were great people! We got the rib tip meal and the big E sandwich. Both were very tasty. I loved the fried cabbage! We will definitely be back.

Where do I start off, first I wasn't happy with the prices, secondly the food was just nasty. I didn't get enough. I had to go to KFC I wasn't happy. I should have went and got my money back. Please people do not go to this restaurant.

I was told to go to this essie mae and wish I would have just went to McDonald's. The health department should close this so called restaurant down today.

Awesome. Food was great and customer service was great. They give plenty of food. I love the Ribs and the catfish. Fried cabbage was the bomb. I have no complaints and I will be going again.

Bbq Rib Tips are really good. Good bbq sauce and good smoke flavor. Tried the Gizzards which were also good. Fair amount of meat for the prices.The Corn Bread Muffin needs a little work, kind of small, over-baked, and very dry.The sides listed are not all avail everyday, said there's no set days for any of them, just whichever ones they decide. So prob just call and ask. Today we tried the Potato Salad and the Green Beans which were both good.Friendly staff, answered all my many questions and was not upset when I called back to change our order.Menu has changed a little, pic attached. We will def go back. We did carry-out, haven't dined in yet but seemed nice and open. Bringing life back to a vacant building in the downtown area is always a positive!
