How the heck are yall gunna say yall are OPEN ONLINE AND with ALL OPEN LIGHTS ON and then have the door LOCKED? not to mention yall are cleaning inside and can see is and don't even bother to say or do anything? Like turn off the open lights if you aren't open. Please and thanks.

I was looking forward to have some Asian food tonight in Freeport and delighted to find this place on Yelp. We parked in the parking lot and walked inside without noticing there was a sign saying "use the other door." It was 7:30pm and it was dark. They didn't lock that door so we stepped right in. The young girl behind the countered yelled out "use the other door" and wanted us to enter that tiny restaurant from the side door. We didn't bother and just left. If they didn't want anyone to walk into the restaurant then why didn't they just lock it? It's a power trip and we ain't having it. We went to Cancun and had Mexican food instead. If I spend my money in a restaurant, at least I should feel welcomed and obviously they didn't care about our business. Next!

I was excited for the sushi... it was room temperature y'all! Nothing was cold!! It was all kind of warm. The roll I ordered and what came were NOT the same thing! Didn't get food poisoning so they got 2

Food is good all around but nothing special. It's good for Freeport but the lack of being open to indoor seating is annoying. A bit overpriced for what you get. Sit down prices for take home food. Sushi tastes great, portion sizes are alright.

Still no inside sitting after 3 years! Take out only ?. Sushi is basic with both raw and cooked. A little better options with cooked sushi. Decent food.

We honestly thought they were closed because of how long g it's been for a review. They are still open and the only sushi game in town. I ordered the sushi for 4 and it was wonderful. The rangoons were a bit small compared to normal but I'll get over it.

Food is always great. But they put my Francher roll mixed in with my other roles, and they have ranch on them. I’d recommend keeping roles separate. Otherwise would have 5 stars. Not the first time this has happened, and I’ve asked about it before, so that’s why I’m giving 3 stars. Like I said food is always delicious.

For what I ordered, the price was excellent, the sushi was tasty and the fried rice was basic. Nothing fancy about Ichiban, which means 'number 1' in Japanese, how presumptuous. Ichiban isn't a must visit, but if you’re in the area and you’re craving sushi, I would give them a try. First review of the new year, 明けましておめでとうございます
The food is always hot and great no complaints there. Would give 5 stars if not for the frustrating phones issues when I call to order.

We are new to the sushi world and we were pleased to have our first carry out last weekend. We enjoyed all of our meals (we got the family pack). It was great to be able to substitute one dish (not cooked one) for a cooked one. Filled up 4 of us with a few leftovers for the next day. I’m so glad we have a new option for meals in freeport.

This place is just a really nice surprise for Freeport. I’ve been coming here frequently for years now, and it’s just always really good. Prices are fair, fish is always really fresh. I eat sushi all around the area, Madison, and Rockford, and this place rivals anywhere in either of those places. I honestly think it’s better, but just has a smaller selection of items.
