Worst visit yet id almost wrote of McDonald's but thought id give them another try 9pm drive thru ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 chicken wraps. Was asked to pull off to the side because of waiting for hot fries. Pulled over people behind me got their food we were still waiting. When it finally arrived we had fries that weren't even warm cold fish sandwich cold chicken Wraps and an ok big Mac. Ended up eating mini p Ravioli out of a can at home waste of $25.

The worst McDonalds in Freeport. Manager NEVER picks up the phone. Order is always wrong. They NEVER take Apple Pay or card payments. It’s 2025, why are you guys still cash only? If you really are craving McDonald’s I suggest going to the Galena location. This place is terrible, & the workers and their attitudes.. beyond disgusting.

Waited 10 minutes in the drive through without the line moving. Ordered on the app and went inside. Waited another 15 minutes and then left without receiving my food. Absolutely abysmal customer service and restaurant management.

I'm not particularly fond of this location. My wife likes their breakfast so I decided to be nice get her Mother's day breakfast. Went through the drive thru and ordered a #6 with no cheese just the way she likes it. Get it home and it's not even the correct sandwich, completely different. Drove back and took the sandwich in requesting the correct sandwich. They were in a huge hurry even though they weren't that busy and didn't take the time to listen to me. First they said the wrong sandwich again but without cheese. Then I had to correct them. They were hollering from over by the drive thru window. Apparently they still didn't understand because when I got to my car I decided to check the sandwich and it was again made incorrectly. I had to go back in and they finally made the sandwich correctly. Lesson learned, check your order before leaving because they clearly aren't competent.
every time I get breakfast, I always get a bacon egg and cheese and bagel with no bacon and I always ask for extra breakfast sauce. There is never extra breakfast sauce. It’s like there was none even put on it in the first place. it may be a dumb thing to complain about, but it’s really frustrating for me because I love the breakfast sauce and if I ask for extra sauce, then I would like that otherwise it’s really dry.

I just went to try the new crispy strips. Only 2 of us ordered a combo meal which shouldnt take long and it took over 20 minutes and we didn't even get sauces for the strips. They said they had one cook...you guys need to have more people in the back

This place never fails to disappoint their customers. Why does my order have to be incorrectly made every single time and then they make sure not to give you a receipt so you can't complain. Tired of the performance at this location.
