This McDonald's is the second busiest one I've ever seen besides Chicago's Rock-and-roll location. The team that works there do a great job of getting orders right and fresh! Thankful too they are now 24 hours.

Waited almost 45mins in the drive thru. Was super busy. But the employees still had a smile on their face and stayed friendly even though you could tell they were stressed and under staffed. Kudos 👏

Worst visit yet id almost wrote of McDonald's but thought id give them another try 9pm drive thru ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 chicken wraps. Was asked to pull off to the side because of waiting for hot fries. Pulled over people behind me got their food we were still waiting. When it finally arrived we had fries that weren't even warm cold fish sandwich cold chicken Wraps and an ok big Mac. Ended up eating mini p Ravioli out of a can at home waste of $25.
20 plus minutes waiting for a coffee on mobile order????? Come on! You made me late for work! Thank you mcdonalds

The worst McDonalds in Freeport. Manager NEVER picks up the phone. Order is always wrong. They NEVER take Apple Pay or card payments. It’s 2025, why are you guys still cash only? If you really are craving McDonald’s I suggest going to the Galena location. This place is terrible, & the workers and their attitudes.. beyond disgusting.
