We had our wedding here in October 2025, and it was fantastic! From my initial tour July of 2024, to the food tasting, and communication beforehand, all top tier! Once we had dinner at The Great Debate downstairs, we knew the catering would be perfect for a wedding for two foodies. Savanna was a saving grace, and was a calming presence to ensure everything went smoothly. All of our guests RAVED about the venue all night long! It is such a unique spot that is hidden within Freeport. The party went all night thanks to fantastic energy from the bartender, Wes! This venue was a dream for me, and checked every single box. Highly recommend!

This is a review for Wagner House as an event space. We hosted our Wedding's Welcome Party on the second level, and it was absolutely spectacular. The space itself is gorgeous, with ample seating, wonderful lounge furniture, and enough room for a game of Cornhole alongside the dart boards. The appetizers we ordered were delicious, with many people going back for seconds, and several people taking a to-go box back to the hotel for a late-night snack. Having a speaker system available for rent really made Wagner House a one-stop-shop for a fantastic Party in a gorgeous space. All of our guests had an absolute blast. Special shoutout to Tara for bartending, she was keeping up with no problem, and had a great vibe that matched our party perfectly.

The Wagnor House the atmosphere, staff and especially Savanah made my son and daughter-in-laws wedding reception utterly fantastic. The kitchen staff helped me with special attention for kids meals and made everything effortless. Food was fantastic. Savanah herself was wonderful with suggestions and help throughout the reception. Every one who worked the reception was fun, nice, and wonderful they went above and beyond. Could not have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time having dinner with our son and his girlfriend. Food was amazing, restaurant decor so comfortable with the best service. Has a top notch chef who prepares some tasty dishes. Made us a special cocktail not on the menu we asked for but so much to choose from. I had my favorite wine. Offers larger party rooms great for a Wedding or any large celebration. You must come try this place. Adding our dessert pics of homemade cake and pie. Not just a special occasion place but a place to relax and visit regularly. We will be back!

Service is not very attentive. Took our food order before asking for drinks. Therefore, everything was up together. The food is always great. However, lettuce wraps were light on the chicken and heavy on the rice.

I was there for a wedding! Everything was amazing but the food was a bit slow coming out from the kitchen. However that didn't stop me from enjoying the facilities and the ambiance of this refurbished building.

We had another delicious dinner at the Wagner House! The loaded potato soup was excellent, and so were the burgers and potato wedges. We topped it off with the yummy caramel French silk pie. The service and atmosphere were great! We LOVE The Wagner House!

Chef(s) are excellent. We have lake house 25 miles away and eating here lunch or dinner is always a treat. Mushroom onion soup is a must. Owner loves his wine and selection pleases even my wife.
