Then My Daughter Order Mac & Chz W/Chkn & Peas, Also the Bourbon Chkn Sandwich, The Chicken Was Dry On The Mac & Chz, My Daughter Even Took The Sandwich Apart To Check That The Chkn Breast Wasn't Dry, Whatever Sauce They Put On The Sandwich Was Waaaaaaay To Sweet, If U Order This Sandwich Ur Sure To Leave With Diabetes, Overall The Rootbeer Was The Best Part Of The Meal. We Almost Forgot To Take Our Food After Paying The Bills. A Little Too Pricey For The Portions Too.Parking: As We Were Walking Out We Noticed The Miller's Beer Truck Blocking Us In, But The Driver Was A Sweetheart & Pulled The Truck Up & Helped Leave. The grilled chicken on the taco salad and mac tasted too much of char and nothing else but the mac itself was great, the bourbon chicken sandwich would've been better with less of the bourbon sauce which I recommended to the waiter for it to be diluted as it was really sweet and tangy. Atmosphere was decent as many people came in, only we (my table) were of the ethnic variety there which is common. Also the cheesecake was good aswell though the caramel chocolates in it were a bit overwhelming and should be made with less included in my opinion. Decent place to go just certain things could be better. Constructive criticism is beneficial for businesses to improve, not trying to bash them.

Great spot in downtown Freeport! Stopped in yesterday for my lunch break to grab a to go order. I had the southwest salad and it was absolutely delicious, I will definitely be going back to try more! They were quite busy with it being lunch time but after only waiting a few minutes someone from the kitchen kindly came up and took my order. My wait time for my order to be completed was only 15 minutes.

Really good food. Came in while driving though with family, I've never been to Freeport and wasnt she where to eat when I found this place. The food was spectacular. Good burgers (we got 4 different kinds, all cooked perfectly), great soup, sandwiches, and fish. The sides were all delicious. Even the fried foods weren't greasy, it was some great comfort food. The restaurant was nice and warm inside and nicely decorated. I also thought the server was so sweet. I feel bad I didn't catch her name but she was attentive and fun, threw out some jokes and even got us to get some of those famous fried Oreos (which were incredible btw) I don't know when I'll be back in Freeport but if I do, I'll definitely be coming here for a meal.

It's always nice to find a restaurant worthy to make it to your favs list. We arrived about 2:00 and they were just finishing their lunch rush. There was a little wait for a quaint table in the corner, but the waitress was extremely nice with a wonderful smile. My wife had a chocolate martini from the bar which she said was delicious.? I had the BBQ brisket sandwich with GREAT onion rings. YUM. My better half raved about the salmon tacos with a maple dipping sauce that she described as unbelievable along with sweet potato fries.Would I recommend you try this restaurant?You bet I would. I know I'll be back.

First time guest. Food was amazing especially the sweet potato fries and sauce that came along with them, well worth the extra charge. Also had a fall drink special Carmel Apple Mule - delicious. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The prices were very reasonable also.

This was my first time eating here, and I won't be back. It was slightly after lunchtime, and we had stopped in for what was supposed to be a quick bite. We ordered and it took quite a long time (25+ minutes) for our food to come out, which gave us time to look around and see what a mess this place was. There were crumbs and dirt all over the floor, blinds looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months, and dust just covered every flat surface. It didn't inspire much of an appetite. We did end up flagging down someone that looked like they were doing paperwork at a table in the back to ask where our food was. She investigated, and our food was very soon after that. My mom's meal was good, she said, but my chicken sandwich was very overcooked, and I thought I might break a tooth on the bacon, so I took that off. I ordered onion rings with my meal, but those didn't come out at the same time as my sandwich. They came out about 7 minutes later, and were very nearly raw. I'm guessing that they were forgotten about. We were at this place for way too long of a time, considering that there were about 4 other people in this place. This place isn't it.

Stood by the "please wait to be seated" sign for atleast a good 5 min. 2 small kids that are not quite. There were only two tables with occupants and both were looking around. No service in sight. So we left very disappointed. No greeting. No acknowledgment. Nothing.

My husband and I were in Freeport for a weekend and were not sure where we wanted to eat. We took a chance and wandered into "This Is It Eatery." We are so glad we did. We each ordered steaks and they were fresh, seasoned well, and cooked to the desired temperature. The brown gravy on the mashed potatoes was fabulous and we wish we could have tried more menu items but we were too full. The staff was professional, kind, and attentive.

My friend and I went to see a movie down the street and stopped in for a beer and a bite. Sheila took care of us that night at the bar. I ordered the Steak wrap shown in the picture. I normally don't order wraps because it's not usually what comes to mind for me. I really was blown away, it was so delicious! They raise all their own beef and even make their own homemade ranch which was the best ranch I ever had!! The steak was tender, juicy and very flavorful. A perfect medium how I like it. Cooked to perfection. Inside the wrap was lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, spring mix and homemade ranch wrapped up in a tortilla with a flat top sear. There were multiple sides as options but mine was the french fries. The fries were a light golden brown color, crispy and delicious. The bar is nice! Sheila let me use the remote to change the channel to something I wanted to watch. I can't wait to go back for more steak guys! Made my night!

The timing was perfect. the waitress Kayla was so polite and did not shy away from the thank you's. The cheese sticks even came with fresh Parmesan on them. I ordered "The Burnt Out Burger" and fries. It came on a pretzel bun, a fried egg on top (salted and peppered with a little runny yolk inside. Under the egg was chopped red onion, pico de gallo, and tomato. American cheese. The burger patty had a right off the grill flavor to it and it all layed neatly on a bed of lettuce. Such a cool place in walking distance from my house. Can't wait to try other menu items.

Finally tried this Downtown restaurant. We were pleasantly pleased with both food and service. I had a burger and my husband had the fish fry. Both were served quickly, hot. Our drinks were never empty and the price was reasonable. The serving area is small but is well lit and we were not rushed.
