Delicious food and wonderful experience! We enjoyed the Beef Tenderloin, Chicken Skewers, Fish of the day, and the most delicious Tuna Tartare. The fish was perfectly fresh with a sauce that was light and flavorful. One of the best meals we’ve all had in a LOOONG while. I hope they get the praise they deserve! 10/10 meal. Would recommend to anyone!

Caliza is an amazing place! It’s highly elevated food without the elevated prices. I’ve eaten at every place in Galena and Caliza is easily the best place I found in Galena. I’ve eaten at high-end restaurants in Galena that have prices much higher than Caliza, but with half the quality. I’ve eaten at Caliza multiple times and ordered a wide range of dishes. They have never disappointed. If you have not eaten here, it is a must. In reduced food, family owned, friendly and attentive staff, just an all around incredible experience every time.

I recently had dinner at Caliza and was really impressed. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, so it was hard to choose. The chicken kebab and the beef stroganoff were both were excellent—full of rich, balanced flavors and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I can’t wait to go back! Sooo good!

The food was INCREDIBLE! It was VERY fresh. Best Ahi Tuna Tar Tarte I ever had. Lemon potatoes were delicious and so were the chicken kabobs and sweet potato fries. We cleaned our plates and plan to return one more time before leaving town. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity. Our server was also very friendly. For this being a brand knew restaurant they did not disappoint. I can see it making a lasting presence on Galenas Main street!

The light and creamy lasagna and flavorful New York Strip steak was perfectly prepared. Everything is very fresh and tasty. The Creme Brulee with it's little twist of lemon melts in one's mouth. What an incredible find in Galena! Don't underestimate this quaint and elegant restaurant, with a menu of options of cosmopolitan flavors. Do make the mistake of passing it by.

A hidden gem overlooking the streets of downtown Galena. I am still in shock that the place wasn't filled when I visited. The atmosphere was warm and the service was attentive and kind. They gave satisfying recommendations of the Spanish- style ham croquettes and the Mediterranean seafood cocktail. The seafood cocktail was similar to ceviche and I can't rave about it enough. There's so many flavors in it but they all complement each other perfectly. There's no way to describe it other than a must try. The Spanish-style croquettes are the same except more simple/classic but that's what made them outstanding. This place immediately became a staple for my friends and I to come back to in Galena. It deserves way more customers and rave! Thank you for the incredible experience; I will be back.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is. The food is INCREDIBLE! We had the Spanish-Style Ham Croquettes which were decadent and delicious. Then we had the Beef Tenderloin Fettuccine and the Bolognese which were cooked to perfection. Natalia was our amazing server who was kind and thoughtful and we had the honor of meeting the chef. You have to try this place!
