Would not even seat me as a single diner. There were plenty of open tables but I was told they would be held for couples or groups of four. Would not serve food at the bar where I was “permitted” to sit.

The atmosphere is very delightful. A great way to take a couple hours vacation. The fish and chips with my Ginness is always a winner
Been here several times, you go for the Irish experience which was not the case. No Irish music playing at all, staff seemed to be unhappy no one smiling and no energy at all. Not sure what changed but it's really too bad as this used to be place to go have a few pints, tap your feet to fun Irish songs and have a great meal.
So I wasn’t sure what to get, so I asked my waitress what her favorite thing on the menu was. Without even thinking she said “I have dreams about the sausage and brussel sprouts.”
Now I don’t know if she was told to push that dish or if they just had a lot of sausage to get rid of, but either way I thought it was funny. I figured hey, if she’s dreaming about it, it’s gotta be good right?
Well… the sausage wasn’t exactly dream worthy, but the mashed potatoes? Holy crap. Best part of the plate hands down. I just wish there was more of em. The brussel sprouts were actually pretty dang good too, especially considering I usually hate em.
All jokes aside, the service was great and everyone was super friendly. Next time I’m probably getting the New York strip, but I’ll still be thinking about those mashed potatoes.

We stopped here for dinner on a Sunday evening. Having been to Ireland we loved the atmosphere, it really looks like a pub you would find anywhere in Ireland. The food was pretty good, we had the poutine which had a very unique and delicious gravy on it and a couple of burgers which were seasoned very nicely. The Irish Chips (fries) were our favorite part, they were so good. As far as service... I don't know if our server was having a bad day or what because from the start he wasn't pleasant at all. I thought he had just misjudged the distance when he slammed our waters down on the table but then he did it again with our drinks. The rest of the dinner went about the same. We definitely were not his favorite table, fortunately for the other tables he did seem nicer to them.

Frank O'Dowd's was a great time. We were there for dinner, Irish dancing, and live music. It was a wonderful evening, made all the more memorable by our genuinely warm and welcoming server, Anna. The table service was truly excellent. Great band, adorable Irish dancers from Chicago!
Wow! Amazing food probably the best fish and chips I’ve EVER had and the Rueben was piled with meat. They also had live entertainment which was wonderful. True authentic Irish ☘️ vibes and food! Highly recommend and will be back

Irish pub feel with decor to match. Menu and drinks are consistent with the Irish vibe. Entrees are expensive, not the food quality is superb. We shared a shepherd pie with 2 Irish soda biscuits. And added a wonderful O'Dowd's pub salad consisting of artisan greens, carrots, tomato, red onion, fried cheese curds, lightly pickled eggs, mixed in with curry vinaigrette.
