This restaurant recently changed ownership to Kevin. I've been to Brazen and Birds Food Truck, located in Dubuque, Iowa, that is also owned by him. We have been wanting to venture over to Galena to try Otto's Place for awhile. It did not disappoint! The food was scrumptious. I enjoyed the plants and our waiter was very attentive. Quaint little restaurant on the beautiful Galena riverfront. Excellent staff, atmosphere, and vibes. Delicious food with local ingredients for a very fair price. The fritatta is absolutely incredible!

Yum! The fresh apple pop tarts were an afterthought but will be forever remembered as the standard from which all other pop tarts will now be compared. 4 for brunch and all happy. Good bloody Mary's made with a house made mix. Good hot biscuits and light creamy gravy, perfect potatoes. This is a relatively small venue and quite popular. There's a nice park close by to wait for a table. No food service at the bar.
