“We had an incredible experience at Fried Green Tomatoes, as always! Our drinks were unique and very refreshing. Our appetizers were phenomenal! We had Martini Meatballs and Caprese Flatbread that were awesome! Our entrees were Lobster Ravioli and Filet and Shrimp which were sooo delicious and enough food to take home for our lunch today too! The service was friendly, very welcoming, and prompt! Madison was our waitress and although the restaurant was packed, Madison treated us as if we were her only customers. The ambiance of the restaurant is always private, clean, and relaxing, and the view from the front window of Galena tourists is always superb! “This is the best place for dinner in Galena. Been to Galena multiple times. Log cabin is good, as well as Fried Green Tomatoes. This is my favorite for atmosphere, food, and service. Never had a bad meal here. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that visits Galena.“

“very packed this night. parking lot full. drive up backed into the street. people inside and outside bc weather was nice. workers having difficulty keeping up but we're upbeat and doing the best they could. seemed to be understaffed for a busy Saturday night. we ended up not ordering anything due to the wait but did hang out for a half hour and had a nice time outside.“

“We went on a Sunday afternoon, very light atmosphere. We were seated in front of the large windows overlooking the golf course, it is a beautiful view. Our waiter was excellent, came back numerous times to check in, refill water, and grab any items we needed. We ordered the burnt ends and corn dip appetizer, which was absolutely delicious and a meal in itself! We ordered the Highlands Club and Burger, both were AMAZING! The fries and sweet potato fries we had on the side were fantastic. It was so much food, impossible to finish. I would recommend to others.“

“This place is worth the drive. Finding other area restaurants closed on Mondays, we came here for an early dinner. Our table was next to the window with a great view of the Mississippi. Service was good and wait time was decent. We had good service and good food at a reasonable price. The chicken noodle soup was very good. I’m not a fan of onion rings, but we ordered them and they didn’t disappoint. Barbecue chicken wings were on par with most restaurants. Google lists this restaurant as Sunset Grille, but we ate in the section called “The Summit” next door on the property. Menu is reportedly the same.“

“4.5 really, enjoyed a nice meal in the middle of the week. Nice selection of wine and several tasty appetizers to choose from. Brussels spouts were good enough to order 2 of. I got the lobster and scallops over ravioli and it was outstanding. Our server was very nice and told us all about the area and gave suggestions on other things to try while out this way. Dessert was perhaps the only thing I would say they missed on, it was premade, refrigerated chocolate cake. Good but not amazing. Price for 2 was $125 before tip. It was mid week and there was only one other table seated which made the place feel a little expansive and hollow.“
