“It's McDonald's. You should have certain expectations already but some locations are better than others. I mostly stopped for coffee but will occasionally get something to eat as well. This location had some issues a few years ago. They really cleaned up their act and the management seems to know what they're doing. Occasionally, there might be a mistake by a new employee but it's resolved quickly if there is one. If you're thinking of stopping at McDonald's I would recommend this one over Dubuque or Stockton. I'm never sure what I'm going to get when I go to either of those locations.“
“Cozy, neighborhood vibe smack dab in the middle of heavy tourism. Excellent new pretzel bites on the menu and great cold pours of fireball and crown apple on the ready. Other entertainment includes a couple of African albino frogs in An aquarium that like to mate, shuffleboard, and even an old still operating mega touch machine. Like many places in Galena, they are cash only.Kid-friendliness: One of the only restaurants in Galena that actually has booster chairs for kids of that size.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s hard to find restaurants with access on the sidewalk level in Galena, but this one and others on the east side of the street are level with the sidewalk so most of them you can get in without a step.“

From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a warm hello, and as I left, they thanked me for coming in.The place was packed and this team worked efficiently to serve every customer, and the cheerful atmosphere was contagious.
