“Great bar & great place to eat. They were slammed right after we got there, those lady's worked their butts off. Had a great meal and watched them make a ton of pizzas to go. Really cool bar in an old building downtown. Nice atmosphere, will definitely come here again if I'm in Mineral Point.“

“New to the area, we were excited to see that there is a local bowling alley. We decided to check them out on a Friday evening since they had a fish fry on their menu. The owner and his daughter were friendly and welcoming. Our family enjoyed two games of bowling and a meal. The food was hot and fresh, and the drinks were cold. Their arcade game area is small but still fun for the kids. We will return!“

“First time here, but not our last. The hotel, bar/restaurant, food, and service are all top notch. Jen served up some great fish and tasty Brown Pointer Dog local brew. The rich history and architecture gives these excellent accommodations extra character. Mike and his dog Octavia are wonderful hosts. Soooo much attention to the details for guest comfort. We love this place, had a wonderful time and can't wait to return. Hold down the fort Octavia and watch out for those mail carriers. ?“

“Reminiscing on a great trip to a small town diner- and my first "Poor Man's Bloody"! What makes it a Poor Man's Bloody? Well, it's made with beer instead of vodka - basically a Michelada. At the Red Rooster Cafe situated in the heart of Mineral Point, you can get theirs for $6.50 and it comes topped with a pickle and garlic-stuffed olive. This one was spicy, but you could definitely taste the beer too. You all know I'm not the biggest beer fan, but this was pretty good! A great twist on a classic, but make note that it's the only option here. If that doesn't entice you to visit, I hope their classic diner vibe and Cornish pasty does! #BobsBloodyMaryBucketList“

“My husband and I decided to try Cafe by Country Kitchen. They had a buffet for breakfast, and it was wonderful. The food was hot and always filled. The other thing I want to relay back to all employees is that thank you for the kindness you gave me and my Emotional Support dog, Rusty. Everyone smiled at me and said hello to Rusty, including the customers. I had a bad experience in a different eating establishment, where an assisted manager told me my dog was not allowed in their restaurant and we needed to leave. I showed her my official letter from my doctor and she said we still had to leave. Thank you to everyone at Cafe by Country Kitchen.“

“Country bar, the meat is locally sourced was good for bar food. Burger was a bit small. The service was great. The waitress treated us like locals and even tried to include us in a meat raffle and fundraiser that was going on while we were there. The only thing that could make that place better is homemade ranch. Pretty cheap to make but it's better than sourced pre-made. Will for sure visit again when we are up that way.“

“1st time at this location and it was amazing. The butterburger double was just tender juicy and melted in your mouth the pretzel bites with the cheese sauce was amazing not to salty not to much bread very fresh and soft. Cheese sauce was amazing as well. The one thing that made this meal GREAT was the "ROOTBEER", as the cashier stated and I quote, " I believe our root beer is was better than A&W", I had to try it and BOY O'BOY.... the rootbeer was so on point and and tasted AMAZING. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT SERVICE. ????“

“Nice little place on the corner in town. Simple menu with enough options for most. Atmosphere is relaxed and the setup is pretty simple. Basic metal tables and chairs, but still comfy. Decent beer selection as well. Not sure if it’s handicap accessible, I recall there being a front step and no ramp. Lots of places in town are closed Sundays, that’s not to say Dino’s is a “take it or leave it” option, it was worth coming into!“
