“I go there because, I like the old furnishings the old fashion feel. It takes me back to the days when I was just a young boy eight years old my grandmother had an old café in Little Rock Arkansas. Those days are long gone, but I still get the feeling when I walk into the Corner Café the food is handmade, fresh, not frozen, which means a lot in this day and age. If you want good wholesome food with a wonderful atmosphere of country folk. Stop in and give it a try.Parking: I noticed there are about three stalls in front of the restaurant and to the side of the restaurant. There are about five stalls. And across the street in both directions there are parking lots available. So there’s plenty of parking as well as handicap parkingKid-friendliness: Yes, I believe this place is kid friendly. There is basically no where for the children to disappear on the premises as everything is wide-open there are several booths and there are stools at the counter, and a couple of tables. It is very cozy and family orientated Great for kids and parents.“
“Food was EXCELLENT! I had the chicken alfredo pizza (with toppings and cheese all the way to the edge!) So good. The husband had the ribeye sandwich and sweet potato fries. The sandwich was great and fries delicious! Crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. They had a great honey mustard to dip in. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!“
“Our reunion of retired school teachers, staff and family members is held every year at Turner Hall. A wonderful buffet is always prepared for us, and wait staff are so attentive and pleasant. We have plenty of room to mingle for our social time, in a private setting. Highly recommend for weekday business or social group luncheons featuring buffet selections.“
“Good food, great drinks. The bar you go to when you want your money's worth. Nice, low-drama spot with friendly staff. Sports a medium sized bar, booths, a big back room with low and high top tables that's great for parties, 2 bathrooms for each gender, and an outdoor patio with seating. You can play darts or pool, with 2 spots for each, or play the juke box. They have 2 happy hours during the week, for normal and night owl hours, and daily drink specials. I highly suggest the Crab and Company sandwich.“
“Swiss Alps has been our family go-to restaurant for years. When my mother became disabled they always saved the first booth for her. When she passed, then later when my husband passed the family gathered at Swiss Alps. The owners and staff have always treated guests like family, and the food has always been the best. I highly recommend Swiss Alps.“
“We ate at the restaurant downstairs, and had an excellent time in this unique setting. The live Polka music was fun, the beer and food was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful with any questions that we had and even had plenty of recommendations for us. If you are looking for a taste of Switzerland, this is the place in Monroe to go!“
“Brett, Ebony, and Camree are the top employees. No, they are not paying me to say this. I'm so thankful Kimmie has joined the team! The food is TOP SHELF and still cost efficient! Atmosphere is wonderful. The place is always clean, plus the employees are always cleaning, which I appreciate. I look forward to taking my whole family here!“
“Bullets, in Monroe, is an excellent place to eat. They have great food and a sweet salad bar! It is kitty corner from Turner Hall, where we had danced, on Sunday afternoon.? ?. Thanks to the suggestion of another dancer, we tried it out and we were impressed! We will go back again soon!“
“Butch and Amy are active in our community and participate in many events. This is a great place for homemade soup and sandwich.Food is available from open to close.Amy's soups and sandwiches have a different flare. Usually at least one soup, sometimes two. Then three or four different dinners. Very tasty and enjoyable!“
“Blue Ribbon is an Upstate NY institution, and a classic family owned American Diner. Having been a patron here for easily over 20 years, I've seen how they have evolved but kept things familiar. The expansion of the bakery was genius, and they easily have the best cheesecake in the Capital Region, if not Upstate NY. I always stop by when visiting. They serve classic American fare, it's done well and it's not fussy. Blue Ribbon is always a cozy and easy time. The service is also very good, with kind and courteous staff.“
“What a great place. I spend alot of time eating at Culver's. The people are amazing & very helpful. The food is always yummy. My only wishes are that they would give you napkins at the drive thru & not push your spoon all the way down in my Concrete mixer when I get it. Otherwise life is good. I will definitely be back many, many timed.“
“Ok so before I say anything, let me get this straight-best hidden secret in Wisconsin by far. When we walked in we were instantly greeted and seated. We noticed that they where fairly busy and low staffed, but they had no problem getting us food and drinks right away. When I ordered a second root beer, the bartender told us that it was on her, thanks to Barb (the bartender). I am not a mac and cheese kinda girl, but the brisket mac is absolutely amazing, and the cheese curds are a must try. The ambiance had a small-town bar and grill vibe. New favorite restaurant in Green County.“
“Great food great service! I had the ribeye and it was well seasoned and very tasty! The place was hopping on a Saturday night! I enjoyed the brief menu, always feel they focus on what they are good at. Friend had prime rib and loved it and enjoyed the molten lava cake for dessert!“
