“Hosted a birthday lunch for 24 in the private dining room. Staff was super accommodating and helpful both in planning and day of event. Allowed us in early to decorate and even offered to cut cake and take group photo on deck overlooking the golf course. Everyone enjoyed their meals, even our picky vegetarian!“

“It was an easy choice to pick Stone Porch Alehouse for lunch with a friend. Ordered the Nashville Chicken sandwich which was absolutely delicious and hit the spot, the seasonings were spot on and it was fried perfectly. My friend ordered a cheeseburger and fries and hers looked delicious too! Shoutout to Chef Jacob and waiter Cody. I asked Cody to pick a surprise side with my chicken and hers picked the cornbread (Yum!). You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu-it’s all mouth watering and generous portions! We had the most amazing dinner, oysters on the half shell and wrapped it up with an unbelievably good coffee and date ice cream 😋 Our experience was so good we decided to go back a second night! “We LOVE this restaurant. We make sure we stop every time we are in the area. We especially love the cinnamon roll pancakes, the homemade toast, and the hashbrowns--delicious! The portions are huge, too. You will not leave here hungry. I also love diners with old-school atmosphere and this place hits the mark. Today we tried three of their baked goods, and the cream cheese danish was phenomenal. It's always packed (others think it's delicious, too), but we've never waited long for a seat. “Ive been going to the Bonfyre for years and I really love the place. For the past year it has been infested with gnats or fruit flies or whatever they are. . You cant take a sip or a bite without waving them away. Its annoying as hell and gross. Its not a one time thing, I go there often and its not getting better. This afternoon I stopped in for a couple of beers and some calamari appetizer. I love their calamari! I used to, today I got a massive plate of breaded bread. And swatted flies away the entire time. I'm not giving up on Bonfyre but if they cant fix the bug problem soon I'm done. I stopped by Badger Tavern before going to Bonfyre, the parking lot was packed as was the entire street so went to Bonfyre. Bonfyre was pretty empty. The atmosphere at Bonfyre should and could be a 5 star...get rid of your bug problem!“

Our favorites: ribs on Wednesday/Thursday. We have never had a bad soup, and the fillets are great-and seem to always be available. Enjoy any of their old fashioneds, and the grasshoppers are a real treat (if you have room)!

We happened to visit while Wish Upon A Wiener was hosting a pop-up, and it was incredible! The hot dogs were huge, absolutely delicious, and have officially become my new favorite. “A huge shoutout to the Cross Plains Culver's team! We were there when the storm sirens went off today. They were so kind and helpful when we all had to go into the basement. We learned there are only a few Culver's that have basements! We waited out the storm and staff was super friendly to my 3-yr old during what could have been a scary experience. When the storm passed they all jumped back into action helping customers and making food. I'll be back thanks to the kindness of the team.“
