“It was an easy choice to pick Stone Porch Alehouse for lunch with a friend. Ordered the Nashville Chicken sandwich which was absolutely delicious and hit the spot, the seasonings were spot on and it was fried perfectly. My friend ordered a cheeseburger and fries and hers looked delicious too! Shoutout to Chef Jacob and waiter Cody. I asked Cody to pick a surprise side with my chicken and hers picked the cornbread (Yum!). You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu-it’s all mouth watering and generous portions! I just wish they offered roasted Brussel sprouts! We’ll be back soon!“

“We were visiting Madison for a business trip. Kelly at Morgan's shoes suggested we go here for oysters. We had the most amazing dinner, oysters on the half shell and wrapped it up with an unbelievably good coffee and date ice cream 😋 Our experience was so good we decided to go back a second night! Oysters and dinner were fantastic! Too full for dessert Such a beautiful location, great service and delicious food. Highly recommend 👌“

“Our first ever visit was for a birthday celebration. We made convenient online reservations.
The restaurant vibe is old school supper club. Warm rolls with cinnamon butter were provided along with cocktails.
We started with cheese curds and a fabulous cheeseball as our appetizers.
My husband loves BBQ ribs which were a special. He said they were about the best he's ever had.
4 of us had the chicken carbonara which was also a special. Very good!
Lastly 1 person had the broiled fish fry which was also a special. This was the only dish that didn't meet expectations. The comment was made that it was overcooked.
We finished with 3 Grasshopper drinks which were yummy!
Great service. We were very pleased overall with our experience.
Will definitely go back.

Edit: I can't believe I forgot to mention the soup. There were 2 of us that chose the cream of potato soup as our side. It was fabulous. Honestly one of the best soups I've ever had.“

“Ive been going to the Bonfyre for years and I really love the place. For the past year it has been infested with gnats or fruit flies or whatever they are. . You cant take a sip or a bite without waving them away. Its annoying as hell and gross. Its not a one time thing, I go there often and its not getting better. This afternoon I stopped in for a couple of beers and some calamari appetizer. I love their calamari! I used to, today I got a massive plate of breaded bread. And swatted flies away the entire time. I'm not giving up on Bonfyre but if they cant fix the bug problem soon I'm done. I stopped by Badger Tavern before going to Bonfyre, the parking lot was packed as was the entire street so went to Bonfyre. Bonfyre was pretty empty. The atmosphere at Bonfyre should and could be a 5 star...get rid of your bug problem!“

“The food is simple (sandwich, salads, burger and a few other options) but tasty. The staff is friendly and makes sure yi ur experience is good, and the decor is nice. Bonus point for the nice selection of whisky and spirits, great for a restaurant. Also, during happy hour a few items are very fairly priced. “A huge shoutout to the Cross Plains Culver's team! We were there when the storm sirens went off today. They were so kind and helpful when we all had to go into the basement. We learned there are only a few Culver's that have basements! We waited out the storm and staff was super friendly to my 3-yr old during what could have been a scary experience. When the storm passed they all jumped back into action helping customers and making food. I'll be back thanks to the kindness of the team.“

And 3 of us were almost done eating before the 4th person got their meal. The servers are just all over the place. I get the concept of everyone helping everyone out but the execution is very poor.
