Oakcrest Tavern is a great bar and grill in Madison, offering awesome burgers and a delicious perch plate. It is one of the best little bars with real burgers, not in the smash style. The Friday fish fry is a highlight with huge portions and reasonable prices, and the grilled fish is also delicious. The fries and other sides are fried perfectly. The staff is a great group of friendly folks. It's a small town pub that lacks the space to accommodate all of the loyal clientele, perfect for a casual meal with great drinks and fair prices.
