“My husband and I came here after a recommendation when our cooking class was cancelled. This was our first time here and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we felt as though we were the only guests there. The service and food were exceptional. All of the staff were eloquently watching us to make sure we had the best service, it it was done in a manner we never knew they were watching to help us. This was by far the best service we ever experienced. Thank you to everyone who made us feel how “the other half live”. We will be back again!”

“Lallande is my first stop for out of town guests, as I have no doubt that the food, ambience, and service will always be top-tier. The food is generally a rustic French style; it’s cozier and more accessible than you might expect of French “fine dining.” My visitors are always hugely impressed by the experience.

Annemarie (owner) and Ellie (manager) are attuned to every little detail and frequently stop to visit with guests at their tables to make everyone feel personally welcome. The staff are very helpful with making decisions and planning your meal if you’re not sure how much food to order.

From the menu, the carrots are a standout, as is the tarragon chicken. All of their seasonal desserts are thoughtfully composed, and the ice cream is made in-house! I typically like to start with the seasonal tarte flambee, then share the chef selection of cheese (sometimes adding a meat to go with it).

This is also a great restaurant to mark a special occasion! They will be sure to make your evening special and may even send out a complimentary side or dessert to help celebrate :)”

“Wow, a great pizza indeed! Highly recommend it and will certainly be going back for pizza. The other dishes fell short. Pasta and the cannoli were bland and uninspired. The service was good but seemed frazzled even with the dining room only 3/4 full. I think they did well though, but hope they keep improving.

“This is our second visit. We tried out the restaurant week menu this time and dishes are tasteful. We are very satisfied and will come back for sure. The pork is supposed to be medium, according to the server. But it might be a bit too raw for us so in the end we got a new plate with pork well done. You might notice we got three desserts and that is because of a small mistake but we are happy to try out all three desserts. Server was professional, friendly and very attentive . This is my favorite restaurant in Madison!”

“It’s hard to make food a sexual experience but the Spicy Shrimp Po’ Boy f***** my face. Fuckin’ F**** a lot of places tone spice down for ‘general pop’ but this place gives it to you raw. If it says spicy it’s spicy but it also delivers a balance of flavor with heat. It was an explosion of awesome in my mouth. So, if you are looking to eat some delicious food while in Madison and need a foodgasm, visit Stadium Take Out you will have your mind blown.”

“Been going for years and now take my toddler once a week. I love walking in, everyone knowing us, sometimes getting our regular table (if we're early enough) and chatting with some of the other regulars. Prices are great, you get a ton of food and the staff is always friendly. Extra bonus they open early for my early riser toddler!!”

“This restaurant's best offerings are their American style maki sushi exploding with all kinds of fillings and toppings. The appetizers and other offerings are pretty basic. The nigiri was disappointing but as expected for this part of the country. The cocktail menu is interesting, but I haven't sampled much from it yet. The new decor is kitschy and over the top, but it imparts a fun, casual vibe if you just kind of relax and enjoy it. Some of the sushi plates had little orchid / flower sprays on them that were quite visually appealing.”

“A nice quiet restaurant for a casual meal. I got the Volcano bowl and kakuni bao. The Volcano bowl was delicious and spicy, so only order it if you can handle heat! The bao was perfect as well - the tangy dressing was a good contrast to the pork. The steamed bun was nice and fluffy as well.”

“Good drinks menu but the food was so-so. Flavors unremarkable. No information on the menu for those who are lactose or gluten intolerant which is easy to flag on menus these days. And the random delivery of small plates, which was to be expected, could have been a little bit more even for our table of four. “Busy UW Game Day and this place rocked for brunch! Never felt packed or too noisy or like they were over-reaching. Food? Perfect. Service? Absolutely the best from Sammy, attentive and always there at the right time without hovering or pushing us, pleasant and friendly without being intrusive, really great server! DO NOT MISS THEIR COCKTAILS. As masterful as the food!”

“The staff was helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was charming. We got the garden salad and seasonal sweet corn pizza. The salad was fresh and mostly good, though it had a bit too much going on. Seemed more like a salad I would make on a "fridge clean out" night than a pre-planned assortment. The dressing was well balanced, however. The sweet corn pizza was recommended to us by our server and said it's a popular favorite. The crust was thin, chewy, and crispy which was what I like in a coal fired pizza. The corn was good though it was a bit sparse for being the titular ingredient. Pizza was good, would have been GREAT with more corn and a little bit of acid (lemon squeeze to finish?) Overall, grateful to the staff in BOH and FOH and look forward to coming back and trying more.”

“As a BTS fan I was so happy to see you promoting/advertising the BTS meal along with your lovely staff wearing the BTS/McDonalds tshirts. I will definitely be stopping by to grab more of the BTS meal!! Hopefully you will as have the BTS logo cups and nugget box’s as well?”

“I ordered ahead in the app. When I arrived at the drive through I was informed that they didn't have my entree. I told them to cancel my order. They said I have to cancel in the app. I said the only thing I could do in the app is report to corporate that they didn't have my food. I did that and received a $10 credit that can only be used if my subtotal is $10. I usually have a subtotal of $3-6. Later I discovered my card had been charged for the food they didn't have. I went to the app again and quickly received an email that I said I will get a refund in 2-5 days.

“Don’t sleep on this place, come and support this Madison gem! The food is delicious and there are such large portions on every plate. My husband ordered their chicken sandwich and it was crisped to perfection. I ordered the beef and chicken cutlets with spicy pepper sauce (sorry for forgetting the name) and was impressed by the flavors and the care taken into creating such a delicious dish.

We are already planning on coming back next week. Oh, don’t skip the dessert as the Lviv cheesecake and the honey cake are the perfect compliment to a meal. We also loved the vodka.

“Nice family unpretentious ambiance, the food is amazing and with real Venezuelan sazon, pabellon, cubano sandwich and cachapas are just some of my favorites. The passion fruit juice is a most, sweet and tangy, it transports me to my roots when sharing meals with family back in Venezuela. I could use the guasacaca over everything, rice, sweet plantains, as a dressing or over their delicious pork belly or churrasco. AMAZING FLAVORS!!!

“I went in thinking I can handle the spiciest flavor they got. Was gonna get 3 reaper tenders but, Dawn, who took our order suggested that I get 1 reaper and 2 hot. She also informed me that I had to sign a weaver before I eat the reaper. So I decided to get 2 extra hot and 1 reaper. Decided to eat the reaper one first, worst mistake I've ever done. Never again!......Took one 2 bites and gave up. Dawn was nice enough to give me a small cup of milkshake to help with the spice. Love the service that was provided there, next time I'm definitely going for just regular hot. Definitely recommend!....

“The Globe is one of my go-to, favorite restaurants here in Madison. I highly recommend their Chili Buff and Korean BBQ with Rice (I've heard the Korean BBQ Noodles are awesome as well). I've had their vegetarian and chicken variations, and both have been flavorful, well-cooked (the chicken is very good and doesn't have chewy or "ick" textures). They're also very helpful with allergy restrictions, including peanut allergies. Additionally, they have extensive vegetarian options and alternatives for their menu items. If you haven't gone here before (delivery, carry-out, and/or in-person dining) I'd definitely recommend trying their dishes!”

“Donuts are fresh and delicious. Food is all delicious and made to order. Highly recommend. Service has always been exceptional, until today. This morning's visit was very different than our previous visits. We arrived to get donuts and some coffees, the restaurant was bustling, no wait. My husband inquired if they had yeast raised donuts, we got a response, "These donuts are all cake donuts." from the woman taking our order. Very short tone layered with annoyance. We then started our order. Again, my husband asked for half a dozen hot n' fresh donuts. She again with an annoyed tone asked, "What flavor??" I responded, "Cinnamon Sugar, please." She packed our donuts in a small box. They smelled divine, we were so excited. We decided to get 6 more glazed donuts, my husband asked, "We'd like 6 glazed, 3 regular glazed..." He was interrupted by the woman behind the counter, who snapped, "SO, YOU ACTUALLY WANT A DOZEN DONUTS?" We were stunned, we stood there for a moment unsure what to say. My husband responded, "Yes, 3 regular glazed and 3 chocolate glazed." She then grabbed a large box for a dozen or more donuts, literally opened our box of six hot and fresh Cinnamon sugar donuts and forcefully dump threw them in the box. Then, rearranged them and got our other 6 donuts. We were stunned by the rude tone and frustration that was shown to us on our visit today. We decided to pay and leave instead of oredering coffees to go with our morning treat. This experience this morning really soured our donuts and also have us questioning whether or not we will return. Sharing in case this is a chronic problem or in case we were singled out for some reason. Hoping all the patrons inside and those who walked in after us didn't experience the same level of disrespect to their food or in the treatment.”
