“Absolutely delicious homemade food, reasonable prices, cozy atmosphere, not hard to find parking. A few tables available at prime time on a Friday night. Nice selection of drinks, wide variety of food choices. All four in my dining party were very pleased. We'll definitely return!“
“The beer was great - nice on tap selection - the atmosphere was nice as it is a good-sized pub, 2 piece live duo act on a Friday night, and our female server was attentive, helpful & friendly, even if her attire was more appropriate as pajamas. Brian, another "server," was less friendly and, in fact, could be considered "surly." Aside from Brian, Bierock is a "recommend!"“
“Fantastic selection of rotating items with fantastic and knowledgeable waitstaff. Bluntly, some selections on the menu are better than others but everything is still good. That said, the fact this restaurant rotates items so frequently is an open invitation to frequently return. I've noticed despite the frequent rotations that they always feature a vegetarian item. Occasionally features exotic meats like kangaroo. Would highly recommend to anyone. The humble butterscotch pudding is surprisingly one of the single best desserts I've ever had.“
“I stopped in here for dinner and had a great experience. The food was great (I highly recommend the massaman curry) and the atmosphere/vibe was laid back. I also liked the open kitchen which kept things just lively enough and not too quiet.“
“El Pazon on S. Midvale Blvd in Madison has delicious food and drinks!I recommend:Taco De Lengua: 6 in. corn tortilla filled with toung marinated in salsa verde. Topped with onions, cilantro and lime wedges.Taco De Tripa! At El Pazon: 6 in. corn tortilla filled with tripe. Topped with onions, cilantro and lime wedges. They also have delicious margaritas.“
“Such a wonderful experience. The food was phenomenal and the staff was amazing. Very welcoming and had such knowledge about everything on their menu. Very fast service and expertise! It was a random stop on my way home and it was worth the detour!“
“Allergy eaters, attention: the Madison Famous Dave’s is our new go-to spot. My husband is anaphylactic to dairy, nuts, and fish, and he was not only safe eating here, but FELT safe eating here. Huge thank you to the staff. They did forget about the bread but remade it instantly and gave me the contaminated meal for free for lunch the next day. Everyone was so patient answering all questions, had no problem producing allergen menu, lists, and ingredients, and seemed not only confident, but trained. Gluten sufferers may have a much harder time here, but fish suffers should feel confident- they are careful to not include Worcestershire in the sauces and also fry their French fries separate. They also do not serve fish at Madison location which is a huge help. Thank you to the manager on staff 4/10/24 you made our night. ?Dietary restrictions: Wife of ANA sufferer to dairy, nuts and fish: the staff at Madison Famous Dave’s went OUT OF THEIR WAY to ensure my husband was not only safe, but FELT confident eating here. “I came here for my birthday dinner and had a spectacular experience. They suggest you share plates, which is what we did. Our server recommended the "Big Dill Energy" cocktail, which was very refreshing. My partner loved the beef tartare, but the all star dish of the night to me was the jerk rabbit. It was probably one of the best things I've ever eaten. Will 100% be returning.“
