“I've got some weird food allergies, and I usually make most of my own food. Being sick today, my husband put in an order, trying to get something I could eat. In the comments, he specified my issues as well and said if it couldn't be accommodated to call. Unbeknownst to him, he ordered sauces that contained my allergens. But Mell took the time and noticed that. Mell replaced those sauces with two that would be safe for me and left a note explaining what they were.Thank you so much for wonderful, safe food on a day when I really needed it. You are so appreciated.“
“Food came in very generous portions and was absolutely delicious. We were left in awe of the Pho broth, Pad Thai, Panang Curry, and the Papaya Salad. Oh and can’t forget about the excellent customer service as well. Definitely will be a go to whenever we travel to Madison!“
“Dinner was truly fabulous. The spices in both our dishes were perfectly balanced. We had the mango curry and Bandung Rica plus lumpia (egg roll). The lumpia came out fast and hot...delicious! The beef was tender, vegetables fresh and perfectly prepared. Will be back soon!“
“First time here and first time having pel'mini, which Google describes as Russian dumplings that are typically served with sour cream or butter. Here you can choose beef or potato or a mix of both, with butter, sour cream, cilantro, yellow curry powder, or Sweet Chili sauce, or The Works, which is all of the above. You walk up to an order window in hallway behind the bar, place and pay for your order. The steamed dumplings are ready fairly quickly if the place isn't busy, which it wasn't at 3:30 on the Saturday afternoon I came in. I waited a minute for my order. Then went into the dining room to enjoy them. They were great as is, but I can see the desire to add butter or sour cream. I chose the sweet chili sauce and yellow curry powder, which were fine, but I preferred the pel'meni as they are. Worth a visit. I would come back if a friend wanted to try it, or on a food tour of different places, since there is nothing else on the menu.“
“The service is quick, the food tastes fresh, and ordering in house or for pick up is a simple process. You select from one of the house-crafted bowls or you can build your own bowl. There is some seating inside where you can dine in after you order at the counter. The prices are fair - you can order a regular bowl, which satisfies my appetite, or you can order a large bowl if you're feeling a little hungrier. My favorite bowl is the sweet avo, and the power ginger is a close second :)“
“What an amazing discovery! We would definitely recommend this place and we will certainly be back .. the only reason I took off a"star" is because the portion sizes seemed a bit small for the price .. but we ordered extra items and REALLY enjoyed the meal!“
“Atmosphere (5/5): The atmosphere was satisfactory. There were props reminiscent of Taiwan, the interior of the store was clean, and the sound of music in the store was not loud enough to interfere with conversation.Service (4/5): You can order through the staff or through the kiosk, so you won't have to wait long to order your food. The staff taking orders are friendly. However, after eating, each person need to put their plates and trays away in a designated area, just like at a fast food restaurant.Food(5/5): The food is very nice for the price. In the case of bento, the rice is not seasoned, so it feels a bit bland, but the danzai noodle menu and the meat (proteins) included in the bento were really tasty. I also recommend milk tea for dessert.Price: $20 per person (including tips)“
“I really like K-Peppers. The staff was really great and so was the place, as it felt nice and cozy. My only complaint was that the food had a little to much greens. I've made bibimbap at home and personally think that the one I male is better. It has potential for greatness though. Overall nice place. Would still recommend.“
“Wowwwww.I'm in Madison for a business trip and didn't have a clue what I was going to do for food, since I'm vegan and prefer gluten free options. I've already resigned to my fate when traveling with a crew of carnivores (zero shade, just dietary differences), so imagine my surprise when my colleagues said they know a place with good food and they brought me HERE!!!I looked up at the menu and thought I went to heaven. Soooo many options, for the first time on the trip I actually had to think what I WANT to have rather than what I CAN have. And then the food arrived and it DELIVERED.The tofu chilli buff (I think that's what it was called?) was spectacular, and really nailed the spice balance. Our entire crew was well fed and enjoyed the place very much.I look forward to going back again. Might just get take out from there for the duration of my time in WI.Excellent job to the restaurant team ??I highly recommend you go check them out ?“
