Haven promises to live up to it's name and rather more. In the midst of many, many new Asian restaurants on or near State Street, Haven stands out for having a warm, open, well-lit and tasteful atmosphere--including not only a few games but a well-chosen, literate bookshelf that welcomes you to linger. The tea selection finally brings us back to the long-lost day of Dobra tea, finally expanding the State Street area Asian dining experience beyond bag tea.

Leaving this review after I just took the first bite of my food. Absolutely delicious. Cute little place right off of state street with amazing food, 1000% recommend to everyone!
This place was absolutely exceptional! We were in town Labor Day weekend and not many places were open. It’s Asian fusion including Chinese and other Asian cultures. I had the sesame paste pork noodles which were truly unreal. It was a massive portion and was did not have left overs haha! I’ll definitely be back and plan to recommend this place to any Madison locals. Amazing experience!

Haven offers a surprisingly nice ambience, a pleasant shock from its exterior. Guests praise the great and fast service, with huge quantities of good food. Popular dishes include the tofu and broccoli, gyoza, ramen, and crab Rangoon. Refreshing flavored ice teas with mango bits are also a hit. It's a spot guests are eager to return to.
