Starbucks in Madison

“My typical everyday commute is unfortunately STILL undergoing some construction and/or road. The closures have not always been up to date on the site i was given to stay informed on any new info. for the project. So recently, I have been trying new routes that I can drive to work in the mornings and this Starbucks is the 1 I happen to drive right past, and it's been a great new/secondary location for me to stop at regularly.“

“Fantastic Starbucks location. It is conveniently located within 2 blocks of Capitol Square and is attached to the adjacent hotel lounge area.The location is very spacious with plenty of seating and a large window. The store is very clean and the staff are excellent.I ordered a Paradise Drink but they ran out of pineapple bits. They asked if I would like dragon fruit or strawberries in it. It was so kind of them to still give me some dried fruit with the drink.The dragon fruit was scrumptious when paired with the pineapple and oatmilk mixture.“

“Stopped in to the Starbucks inside Target on Lien Rd in Madison on Monday. Was instantly welcomed by a warm smile and a hello from Sidney. I’m incredibly indecisive but Sidney was very patient with me and explained some new menu items. I got a new summer lemonade and my friend a coffee. Sidney made them both perfectly. I was a little bummed I couldn’t leave her a tip (not allowed to take them) as her service was great! Thanks Sidney!“

“Fantastic Starbucks location with extremely friendly staff who consistently craft quality drinks.

This is one of the cleanest and most spacious Starbucks Cafes I've been to; it's very modern and has a great atmosphere.

There is free lot parking at the cafe.“

“They always don’t mind when I order and ask to get just ice in a personal cup. Also not every Starbucks has a good atmosphere (worker wise) and this Starbucks specifically I love going to because the workers are always friendly and they fill my no ice drink to the top!“

“I have had the most positive experience I’ve ever had while at a Starbucks or interaction with a staff member in general. A barista named Jen helped us and not only made our order perfectly, but was genuinely the sweetest person and made our experience and day!“

“Based on the friendliness of the service at this Starbucks, Starbucks should study it and train all Starbucks staff nationwide accordingly. The stereotype of indifferent college kids who don't care about their service job doesn't hold; time after time you're greeted with a smile, which catches you off guard and makes the coffee taste better.“

“I wondered around the Hyvee location looking for food. I am vegan and it is not always easy. Having been ignored by the grocery staff several times, I decided to get some coffee to go. The staff at this Starbucks location were amazing. The only thing bigger than their smiles was their product knowledge. I left with food I could eat and hot coffee. I will be back and kudos to management. Happy staff equals good management.“

“I had outstanding service from Zari! She took so much care to customize our drinks, and she told me the most economical way to do it. We had a rough day, and she lifted us up and called me "Sunshine." Then I tried to tip her and she wouldn't accept it because she is a team lead. She is AWESOME. Thanks for turning our day around.

Vegetarian options: Soy or almond milk“

“This Starbucks must have had a change in staffing because I had no issues with courtesy or service. Time of the day can also be a factor, as I usually frequent coffee shops in the early part of the day, so maybe I get more of an “optimistic experience.”

Located on State Street and close to UW, I only found two major flaws here—1.) parking, and 2.) a higher levels of peddlers.

Still, I appreciated the colorful design and large amount of available seating. The bar also had plenty of space and the barista was engaged enough to actually hand me my drink.

Starbucks will undoubtedly always have its flaws, but nothing is inherently wrong with this location or the service they provide.“

“Every time I come to this establishment the same Batista is working all by herself doing the absolute best that she can to get every customer taken care of. Her name is Tobias I believe! I always have a good experience coming here and it takes patience especially when there’s only one person working. Be patient and Kind people!!“

“I never write reviews, but Yuri definitely deserves one! She’s always so nice and really cares about how your drink is made. We try to come here every weekend because my drinks are always made right. Thank you, Yuri, for always being so kind to us. Will continue going here for our drinks 😊“

“Fabulous staff and service!! At the height of the morning, they still welcomed me and each guest that walked in. The drive thru must have been 15-20 cars long. I was able to place my order inside and get my food and drink within 5/10 minutes. The teamwork was phenomenal and very impressive!!“

“The only issue I had with this Starbucks is dealing with the construction on I-51 to get here. The drive-thru could have been slightly faster, but this has been one of the better Starbucks’ I’ve been to around Madison, at least customer service wise.“

“I was worried coming here after reading the reviews, however I am glad that we came anyways. Place was clean, drinks were as expected and even better and service was great. Sunday evening was very pleasant and we ended up staying until the store closed...Starbucks on Gammon Place has exceeded our expectations 👍, especially thanks to Nat! 😀“
