Starbucks in Machesney Park

“I just wanted to take a moment to leave a genuinely positive review for this Starbucks, especially for the manager, Heather.

I recently placed a few DoorDash orders and unfortunately, my drinks were coming out much sweeter than I prefer. I like my coffee to actually taste like coffee! I’m also currently on a weight loss journey, so being able to know exactly what I’m drinking and keeping my calories where I need them is really important to me.

I normally don’t complain, and I really didn’t want to cause anyone any trouble. Since I was getting ready to place another order, I decided to call the store and politely ask if they could make sure my drink was prepared a certain way. Heather answered, and she was absolutely incredible. She was so kind, patient, and understanding. She even asked me some additional questions and genuinely wanted my feedback so they could figure out what was happening.

When my order arrived, my drink was PERFECT! Heather even apologized and explained that they had some new trainees and appreciated the feedback. I truly appreciated how she handled everything. She never made me feel like I was being difficult or that my request was an inconvenience. Instead, she listened and made sure I was taken care of.

We just moved back to this area after being gone for about eight years, and I have to say that every single time I’ve gone through this Starbucks drive-thru, the employees have been incredibly kind and welcoming. I’m there almost every day, sometimes even more than once a day, and I have consistently had great experiences.

I really don’t think the original issue was anything more than a miscommunication with DoorDash, and I certainly don’t want that to overshadow how wonderful this team has been. Mistakes happen, especially when you have new employees learning, but what matters is how a business responds. Heather handled it with so much kindness and professionalism, and that meant a lot to me.

Thank you, Heather, and thank you to the entire team for always being so sweet and welcoming. I’m genuinely grateful for the patience, kindness, and effort you put into making sure your customers have a great experience. ❤☕“

“Starbucks, in general, has been around for awhile but it was nice to be in a newer store. This location is extremely clean, the staff friendly and informative. They made great suggestions for the Sage and Blackberry refresher when it was around.

What made me super excited, and may seem odd to some, is the fact that they offer glasses and mugs if you're staying in to drink. This was something I missed in a lot of places and, if I'm being honest, makes me want to come back for that aspect alone.“

“I live in Roscoe and I chose to drive to this location rather than my local Starbucks. I order online through the application and my order is always ready for me. This location gets very busy and even when you can see the employees are visibly overworked they are still polite and fix any mistake made.

Dietary restrictions: They have options for diary free drinks

Parking: A number of businesses are next to Starbucks so parking fills up quickly.“
