“It was easy to reserve a table through Open Table but we missed the part about needing a $5 day pass which you need to get on another app. Then download GrubHub to order food and drinks. The staff were so friendly. But we were seated in a corner with no view by a rat trap. That was disappointing. The food is football food. Not the best but I guess expected. The really nice thing was not the usual terrace crowds. Picture of our view. And yes, there were other tables open.“

This is my second time here, but I thoroughly enjoyed the service that I received from ilsa this time way more. “Happily, this wine bar is a short walk from where we are staying. We arrived early in the day - 4pm plus and all was quiet. We saw it the night before and it was jammed. Quality wine selection available at fair prices. Great cheese tray and olives. Bread service with it all. We purchased a bottle of Priorat, discounted for take away. Wish we had time for another visit.“

“Outstanding place, they don’t larp here, they’re legit. Great tasting food, ordering system is unique and works so much better than a traditional system, portions are perfect.

Best part about it all is the aesthetics. I saw a digimon poster in the back and understood these fellas know ball. Wouldn’t be surprised if there was a DC2 integra chillin in the back, it’s that Japanese.“

“This is a hidden gem on Madison campus with a beautiful view overlooking the lake. The food is tasty, portions are generous, and prices are very affordable for students. A perfect spot to relax, enjoy good food, and take in the scenery.
Parking is difficult on school days so prepare yourself to walk or plan where to park before going in here.“
