Very hip nostalgic 50s vibe. Hostess was amazing. Food was done quickly. Vegan reuben was delicious. Broccoli side was steamed to perfection. My only criticism is the strawberry rhubarb pie. It was not fresh. I won't go into further detail, but suffice it to say...Monty's would greatly benefit from hiring a pastry chef and making a name for themselves as the place to go for amazing fresh baked pies. This was the total opposite, but everything else was fantastic.
For a diner, this would rate five stars all the way across the board. It was a great place to have Friday Fish Fry.It is a art deco building that was transformed from a garage and gas station into a diner.
