“Just got the beef phily steak in wings buffalo wings and let me tell you it was good and I’m from Chicago in the beef man savory flavor. The guy know what he’s doing in his restaurant and he’s so nice. He gave us some Italian ice to try because it’s St. Patrick’s Day and I give his food 10 out of 10.“
“During the 4 years of visiting Madison while our son attended college this was our GO TO EATERY every experience was on point 100% absolute BEST place to eat out! I was two hours away a few weeks ago and was tempted to make a visit just for lunch... So so tempting. Will see you soon! 5 Star rating * * * * *“
“The cashier Sofia gave great customer service ,being very patient and kind ,I recommend coming to eat here ,the food is delicious, the cook by the name of Luis served my meal exactly as I asked for I will be long time customer for sure !????“
“Friday Night Fish Fry Wife did not want battered fish and they have excellent alternate. She got the salmon and salad and looking at the menu- what did I see but mussels. These are some of the best I have had since being out on the East Coast. The potatoes in with the mussels with an extra surprise. Great service“
“It was my first time eating at Blue Moon. I should’ve gotten a burger but I ended up getting the California Rueben with waffle fries. Both were very good! I will need to try a burger next time. We went for lunch on Fish Fry Friday, which was obviously pretty busy. Place was packed!“
“Classic neighborhood Tavern, with a Menu full of outstanding Food... including the best Ribeye Steak Sandwich you'll ever bite into !! Am really missing this place since we're rarely in Madison anymore. Started having meals here in 1975; and everything I've ever eaten from here, whether dine-in or carry-out, has been fabulous.“
“This place has wonderful food and great drinks. Service was reasonably prompt and pleasant, food was delicious, drinks equally great. My only downside is expectations. When your times state 10:30 close, I expect 10:30 close. Instead, at 9:50 our table was told “We’re closing, but no rush, are you ready for the check?” This indeed insinuates that we should head out now. 40 min earlier than the advertised close. While finishing our drinks, all table’s chairs were being placed on the tables, a clear indication of closing. All tables chairs were on the tables except ours by 10pm. I totally understand a slow night, but as a manger, one should set expectations for customers regardless of current customer level. Instead they should set time for 10pm if this indeed is their existing typical closing time. Set a time, and stick to it. Again, food was delicious, from burger to cheese curds, it was all great. Please reevaluate your timings to align with your expectations. Nonetheless, thank you for the evening.“
“This is the ultimate in Wisconsin's local neighborhood tavern. The service was spectacular. The bartender was top notch, with over 25 years experience running the show, ans was very attentive to everyone in the place. The selections of sauces for the food was extensive, and all were very flavorful, particularly the mango habeñero sauce.“
“Love the vegan burger. Not sure if the bun is vegan? Would love to see some non-dairy shakes or cheese on the menu. Great fries and we love the veggie patty!Vegetarian options: vegan burger on the menu!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free buns and vegan burger“
“Been here a handful of times and never disappointed. Had not had the clam chowder before. Maybe the best I’ve had anywhere in the country with all due respect to all the Baltimore/East coast and west coasters. Obviously always comes down to choice but really nice balance of viscosity and flavor without being so creamy all it becomes is cream soup with potatoes and chunks of clams. I almost cancelled the fish and just got more soup…lake perch was a little undercooked but I knew I should’ve said ‘well done’ cuz they were busy, but didnt. Call that my fault. Fish was solid, clean and flavorful and not greasy or over breaded. Perfect level of batter, they just got antsy.“
“I suppose I should state that hipster stuff annoys me a bit, so yeah... probably should take my review with a grain of salt.None the less, I've had the Bob's Bad Breath burger several times here. Wasn't the greatest this past time. Dry. Not super flavorful.Salad was really good.Staff was doing exactly what they do. Being hipsters, but serving food with a smile and helpful.“
“Needed someplace to eat while waiting for my wedding to happen in Madison. Settle down was close by I walked there. I was not disappointed, the special which was I think all the chicken butter burger was phasing and the soup was as well. Reasonable price Add to my places to eat when in town list“
“Food was good. Burger was quality and not skimpy! Nice dive bar vibes. I like the tall ceilings and exposed brick. There is a counter where you order your food so heads-up about that. They have pull tabs which is always good entertainment but I hear they have even better entertainment on Saturday & Sunday mornings lol! Not my cup of tea but if you're into a unique experience, then check out breakfast here on the weekend for smut n' eggs.“
“I had the fish fry with chili and coleslaw. The fish was by far the best part. The coleslaw and chili were ok, but not memorable. The fish was good. I would not go back just for the fish, though. It was surprisingly loud even though there was not a local game on. The pool table needed more room to play, so tables were pushed out of the way, making them unavailable to use.“
“Lots has already been said about this place, but a couple things that I haven't seen as much--1. It is very dark in the dining room and the bulbs are pink/red. Like, I wanted a good look at my burger after I cut it in half to check out the toppings, and I had to turn on my phone's flashlight.2. The menu says that all burgers are cooked to medium unless specified otherwise, but mine arrived with no pink.3. There aren't any seating options that aren't barrel style chairs or booths. The barstools are the same as the chairs, just higher. It's good! I'll go back when I'm in the neighborhood at an off peak time.“
“The one and only is a fine madison, wi restaurant in Monroe street. Parking in the street is usually available before 6 pm. After 6 pm you may need to drive into nearby residential streets. The food is consistently delicious except for most of the desserts. The Keylime pie is always delicious and has big fans. I love bread pudding, however, it was cooked in a very different style that rendered it dry and more crunchy.l - not what I preferred. The appetizers are delicious and varied. The entrées are fantastic most recently the special chicken Parmesan was incredibly tasty and very nicely breaded. I enjoyed the polenta previously, and they were very kind to add some pork belly on top of it, which is a delicious twist. as a homage to prior establishment in the same location, brasserie v, they have a delicious collection of Belgian ales. For those that like brown drinks, they seem to have a pretty good collection of rye and bourbon as well though I haven’t tried it overall this is a great new favorite restaurant and the prices are reasonable for a medium higher end restaurant.Parking: You can generally find parking on the street pretty easily before 6 PM. Things get crowded after six and you’ll have to look for parking on the side streets. You can find parking on the residential streets about one to two blocks away pretty easily.“
“we recently attended the graduation viewing party at the Sconniebar. The staff went above and beyond to make this experience special for us, I couldn't have asked for more and even had shots ready for our graduate and her friends after. Thanks everyone for making the graduation experience an outstanding one for us. Will definitely be back to try some Old Fashions!!!!“
“It is a classic bar. It's not some cutesie fake speakeasy or craft cocktail place. Its a bar with barfood, bar tv, bar decor (neon beer ads) and very kind/capable bartenders & staff. It is beautiful. It's the bar I think of if someone says "a horse walks into a bar...". It is perfection.“
“Don't write this place off just because it's in a hotel. Unlike any other hotel restaurant I've been in. Fantastic service. Delicious food and drink. Reasonable prices. We dined here two nights in a row it's so “
“Super chill for a Friday night. Burgers are really good and high quality. "Sexy" cajun/garlic fries were awesome. Low staffing, but felt cared for by the lone bartender/server. Only oddity was it was so dark inside we 1) weren't sure they were open and 2) barely could read the menu.“
“Truffle fries and burgers were delicious. The parmesan tots were great for a toddler as they are just coin style tots with shredded parmesan sprinkled on top. I would have been disappointed if I ordered the tots for myself, but my toddler loved them. The service was decent but not a great place for parties larger than 4 based on the setup.“
“Got the chicken tenders Togo for $14, which came with a lot of fries Cole slaw and a biscuit. A lot of food for that price. Food was ready 5 minutes after I ordered which was surprisingly fast. First time ordering here just have to change when I order.Fries were super hot and crispy.I’m not a dill fan and the chicken tenders have a hint of it but I’m a fan. Really juicyThe biscuit was the best piece of bread I’ve had as a side. Texture of corn bread grilled like grilled cheese.I would pay to have this turned into a grilled cheese.“
“The atmosphere won't win any contests but the vibe is genuine and the staff are fantastic. Grabbed a pulled pork sandwich and the portion size was gigantic for the price. I tapped out since I was stuffed but it was amazing. Bartender was great - friendly and attentive. Everyone at the bar was having a good time and chatting with everyone. I'm definitely going to make this a regular visit. I'm afraid to tell to ok many people cuz I don't want the chill vibe ruined“
“I first went to The Plaza in 1968. It was a go-to place throughout my college years. Just went back for the first time in decades. I'm pleased that except for the flat screen TVs it looks pretty much the same as it did then. The Plaza Burger is still outstanding and the french fries excellent. Broad selection of beers with many from Wisconsin. I introduced a friend from Cleveland to it last week and she loves it too. Next time I'm in Madison I'll be back!“
“This was my first time ordering and eating this food because I wanted to try Catfish. This was great experience on the phone a gentlemen name Kyle I believe. I may have got the name wrong but he was professional, polite and detailed. He was new but made sure my order was received and a ETA when the order was finished prior to getting off the phone. When I arrived I was Pleasantly greeted by a Pretty Lady and the Gentlemen that I talked on the phone. I waited only a few minutes and the order was hot off the grill. I was pleasantly surprised with the food and will come back. I was a little disappointed that I didn't get my Kings Hawaiian roll but the main entre with the Mash & Gravy made me forget about it. I will back again. Keep up the great work!Parking: Parking in front of building.“
“Love this spot! I've been a handful of times when in Madison and the burgers are delicious! The service is typical what you'd expect at a fast food-esque restaurant, fast and workers are pretty chill. The food is definitely higher quality and better than your typical fast food place. I would compare it to a five guys, but I think Mooyah is better!“
“Really enjoyed the ambiance--a real neighborhood place that has lots of TVs, friendly staff and solid, cheap food and drink options. They have one pound burgers! I was super hungry the day I went in and it hit the spot. Great, local beef, fresh ingredients and a great price! I had a few beers and a burger for a great, cheap price. Check this place out to watch a game or fill up on a giant burger.“
“We stopped at this Madison WI Culvers on our way to Rockford today and our 16mo made friends walking around the restaurant after we ate. The manager was so nice to her, gave her 2 stuffies and meal cards for our next stop through! Thanks, Ana! We'll see you again in a few weeks. :)“
“Tastes like childhood, and teenage hangs at the mall. In Wisconsin where custard is king it's nice to have this old favorite soft serve Icecream available, for a could of nostalgic peeps who hail from the east. My husband and I stopped here after dinner on our way home after a very long day, we got two peanut buster parfaits and the hot fudge was hot! I know it sounds weird but lots of times hot fudge is lukewarm before it even touched the Ice cream and it makes things weird. Anyway, good job!“
“This facility is beautiful and feels amazing to be in it. The organizer for the event that I attended today, Sherie, was incredibly professional. The space that she had set aside for us to use at the expo that we attended was beyond gorgeous and perfectly decorated to suit our needs. I would definitely use this venue in the future.“
“Hand cut fries and cheese curds were delicious. Decent enough selection of craft beers, lookout for duplicate numbered beers on the beer list, they had two #15s the day I went so I had to choke down a nasty bock in my flight. Service was slow, but still friendly. Lots of tvs for watching Packers.“
“Not to throw around comparisons but...... Burger King's fries are waaayyyy better compared to let's say McDonald's! Burger King's fries are thicker, saltier, and actually come out hot. I ordered a sausage and egg muffin from the breakfast menu. The sausage patties are thicker even than McDonald's and have way more egg. I don't do fast food often, but next time I do it'll be Burger King!“
“The food here is unbelievable the service is great there all nice. the food just tastes different in a very good way!Vegetarian options: They have the best vegetarian soup it is the best soup ever there are other options like grill cheese they have good cheese curds, and fries!“
“NOT recommending Madison Mineral Point Road location. Husband ordered a mushroom Swiss burger. Got home, and it was a melt sandwich, overcooked and greasy. Not an option to return to get the burger he ordered. He waited forever the first time. Not calling either. It isn't worth the time and effort. Even if he had ordered this melt sandwich, I would still say it was greasy and overcooked. Sorry to all the good locations. Have never had a complaint about Culver's previously.“
“We were greeted with enthusiasm as soon as we entered. The staff was very patient, even when trying to figure out how to run a gift card. We didn't have to wait long for them to prepare our food, which was great, as usual. The "Little Fries" were anything but... One order was plenty for the two of us. I like how they always just dump more fries in the bag! Gotta love bag-fries ?My only complaint about Five Guys in general would be the price. Two "Little" burgers, Little fries, shake and a soft drink was about $35. Granted what you get for your money is great. Will definitely be back, once I've saved up lol“
“Burgers made fresh just to your liking. Best burgers we have had in Madison. Perfect bun to burger ratio. Fresh ingredients used for toppings. Sweet potato fries and fried cheese curds were excellent. Playlist vibe was fun! Affordable too! Service was fast and friendly! Good job, Michael's!!!!!!!“
“Love love love shake shack!! My absolute favorite burger, perfect size and flavor, not too heavy! The fries are always hot and fresh at this location and the workers are always friendly! Food usually takes about 10 minutes or less and is always fresh and hot. Love the clean and comfortable atmosphere as well!“
“I just had the walleye sandwich, and it was one of the best sandwiches I've had anywhere! The fries (ordered extra crispy) were outstanding. Grace took the order efficiently, and the entire team was terrific, as always. This location is always A+++!“
“Our server Brandon made our night so much better. He was very kind and made us feel very comfortable! He also made sure all of our needs were met and did a great job. I’d definitely recommend going to the East Madison location! The overall experience was great and I will be back again!!!!!“
“Took my 4 year old last Friday and it’s her new favorite place. Our server Ebony was amazing and took great care of us. The food was fast, tasty, and hot. We came back this week and had another great experience - fast, polite service, fast, hot and tasty food. As the 4 year old says “this place is darn good!” And for the price point, it’s just slightly more than we’d pay for dinner at Culver’s and better (and endless fries!)“
“This dairy queen is a family owned and operated Dairy Queen which I support small businesses and especially family around businesses. Fast service, great people I can't complain about anything about this place it was clean. It was just a great experience. The reason why it was a great experience, because while I was standing in line waiting for this peanut cluster blizzard, I thought of my childhood every day summer my dad had off because he was a teacher. One day a week during the summer my dad and I would stop at Dairy Queen and get a blizzard or an ice cream cone, back then when you got a blizzard, they would flip the blizzard up in the air and make all these funny tricks with the blazer to show that it would not spill out of the cup. So while I was waiting in line for this blizzard, I was wondering if this guy was going to do that And as I was going to pick up the blizzard he flipped it up in the air and it did not fall out. Memories also can make a restaurant amazing plus like I said it's family owned and I can't complain the blizzard. It was good. The service is great place is clean go check it out. Tell them I said hi.“
“The most tasty delectable food ever! My wife and I love it here! The atmosphere and employees are so welcoming and relaxed which makes it a great place to just chill out and enjoy a delicious balanced meal. Shakes are A+++++ in flavor and texture!“
