Definitely a go to when in Madison.
During the 4 years of visiting Madison while our son attended college this was our GO TO EATERY every experience was on point 100% absolute BEST place to eat out! I was two hours away a few weeks ago and was tempted to make a visit just for lunch... So so tempting. Will see you soon! 5 Star rating * * * * *
They wedge a lot of history, fun, and burgers into the experience. A staple for Madison residents - both on campus and from around the area - they are a destination stop if you are looking for an authentic rep of the bigger scene. More focused on food and service than the other bar based options, you can still get a beer from a variety of choices. Don’t let the crowd at the door hold you back - they move fast and are worth the wait. Highly recommended!
