Plaza burgers are the best! The plaza sauce and the pickles are what make them so tasty! A downtown Madison must stop.
If you’re looking for a no-frills, old-school dive bar, this is it! 🍻 It’s cash only, so hit the ATM before you go. They’ve got all the classics—pinball, pool, darts, and other bar games to keep the good times rolling. The decor is delightfully retro and feels like a step back in time. I chose this place because it is listed as the oldest restaurant in Madison, I don't know how true that is but when I explore a new city I like to seek out the oldest restaurant. This place was super cool, the vibe is totally a dive bar during the day but apparently it gets crazy during college sports and is full of young people.
