We went to this bar because we saw some reviews saying the bartenders were mean, and we could not have anything farther from the truth. Our bartender, John, was so welcoming and nice. The drinks were cheap, other people in the bar were great. Love this bar. We did not try the food though.
First of all, a comfortable place with good-priced beer and a good selection of Irish imports and local micros on tap. A limited menu but a lot of food for the money. CASH ONLY (but they do have an ATM). I had a spicy black bean burger, which appeared to have been made at the pub. Wife had a turkey and bacon toastie which was massive but slightly harmed by the excessive butter on it. Real problem was the incredibly loud hip hop blasting the entire time.
