“Best hidden gem in town. We ordered the nachos & a burrito thinking we each needed our own dish and we were wrong! The nachos are large enough for two people and one could argue the same for the burrito. There was little to no fat in the Birria & it was so delicious & flavorful. The burrito had little to no gristle which was was amazing!! 10/10 will be back.“

“Neat little place. Under new owner ship as of this year 2026. It has gone through some revolutions. I'm looking forward to the space being collectively open to some staples and the community being open to some newness for the establishment. Today, Saturday, I tried the Nitro Espresso Martini- this batch is good. A bit like a drunken chocolate milk with coffee. Certainly not bad and totally a great combo , this batch just has a bit more chocolate notes. Tasty.
I tried the tacos, #42, Old boy, Natty ice. I'm not total spicy girl at the moment. The #42 was soooooo juicy it ran down my hands and the others were superb as well. They made it more cohesive and yummy. Ask for more napkins.
I tried the Classic Old Fashioned, it pre-bottled- a bit sweet for my taste. I needed some muddling of cherries and the option to make it less sweet, more lemon or club soda to make more sour. But i will just order it next time. No biggie.

“I have been here twice and Taco Madre has consistently quality service and food, and is really accommodating to vegetarian and vegan folks (just ask), which I don’t always find at Mexican restaurants. I had the bean enchiladas de mole today which I could eat again and again. Try the agua de jamaica! The Atwood neighborhood has been needing something like this, I’m so glad Taco Madre is around!“

“I usually love bear and bottle but my food and service were just bad today I’ve had this server before and they just aren’t attentive Had to go to bar for my second drink Normally food is very good but taco dip has huge chunks of cream cheese Server left my food at edge of table for more that fifteen minutes which attracted flies I love the open air aspect of this spot bit of your food is left for that long…. Flies come to you. I will only eat at the bar from now on. Bar service is amazing“

“Cute atmosphere. A little overpriced. Chicken Taco way over seasoned . Recommend adding simple tacos for children or others that enjoy the basic taco. Bandito delicious ! I’ve never been where you have to pay for chips & salsa . Adding in fountain soda would be a plus .“
