Awesome free chips and yummy margaritas. yummo
Cute place. Really good tacos. I feel that the manager wearing the backless belly shirt has poor taste in restaurant attire. It isn't appropriate nor classy. Your employees wear T shirts. You should be doing the same or better. Looks like you just walked in off of the beach.
Tried Canteen for the first time after a glowing recommendation and it didn’t disappoint! The starting basket of duritos was delicious! I’ve never had anything like them before! And the tacos were AMAZING!! The brussel spouts ones ended up being my favorite. And don’t forget to leave room for dessert and get some flan!

The happy hour from 2-5 daily is a must-try, featuring top-notch tacos and half-priced tasty margaritas served in pitchers. The duritos are better than the chips, and the friendly staff creates a good vibe. With one of the largest Tequila selections seen in a while, Canteen is also known for its incredible Virgin Margarita made by Nicollet. This restaurant is highly recommended for lunch or dinner, with great service and lots of seating outside. Conveniently located for conferences or concerts, it is a favorite spot for visitors from out of state who return every time they are in Madison.
