Good veggie taco options with potato, cauliflower & Brussels sprouts options. Great happy hour offers.
Stumbled across this restaurant while searching for burritos. In full transparency, I went into it with a bit of a negative bias due to them being a part of FF group, but every single one of those feelings disappeared immediately upon entry to the restaurant.
We visited on a Monday afternoon and took advantage of their generous and fantastic happy hour. Half price tacos? $3 Tecate? Yes and yes!

Canteen offers flavorful beef tacos, crispy empanadas, and excellent margaritas. The happy hour from 2-5 daily is a must-try, featuring top-notch tacos and half-priced tasty margaritas served in pitchers. The duritos are better than the chips, and the friendly staff creates a good vibe. With one of the largest Tequila selections seen in a while, Canteen is also known for its incredible Virgin Margarita made by Nicollet. This restaurant is highly recommended for lunch or dinner, with great service and lots of seating outside. Conveniently located for conferences or concerts, it is a favorite spot for visitors from out of state who return every time they are in Madison.
