This is an incredible brewery with a very neighborhood brewery vibe. Their eurpoean style lagers and beers are quite good. Dr Punk (their New Zealand IPA) and Guten Morgen (maple coffee scwartzbier) are phenomenal.
We arrived here not too long before closing on a cold night in early January. It was like a beacon of light in the darkness and you can immediately smell the barley when walking in the door. This was a very friendly brewery. We had fun talking to the bartenders, owner, and other patrons. Their display of their tap list is quite neat. Great neighborhood bar. Not a lot of bars like this place in Madison. Most nights have something going on. Bingo, trivia and they almost always have some kind of food truck offering. The bartenders are friendly and very personable and make coming to this bar a treat every week.
