Wow-the roasted veggies with aioli sauce was outstanding. A simple but elegant thin crust pizza with a Sangiovese was beyond my expectations. A little confusion on what table got whose bill/tab was the only negative. You gotta visit Gibb's bar next door! They've got MALORT! So-NO Chicago Handshake tonight!
Went for dinner last night. It was a Monday evening and crowded was thin. Nevertheless I called ahead to book a table and was seated by the window. Small cute place.My dining mate had an amber ale and I had the sweet red wine to kick off our dinner. The wine was good. It tasted more like sprite mixed with red wine - sweet and sparkling.We ordered the pork confit for appetizer. Served in a small iron skillet, the pork was very in tender and delicious. Definitely has character. Small but a fair amount of seating. Tried several food items, appetizers, pizza, dessert. Everything tasted great.Vegetarian options: There were a few good veggie options. Not a wide variety.Parking: Pretty busy area. May have to park a couple blocks away.Kid-friendliness: It's pretty cramped and loud. Not the best for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wide enough inside to maneuver a wheelchair.
