I'm a big fan of Batch. Their baked goods are, in my opinion, the best in Madison. I don't think I've had a bad item. My favotites are the orange roll, ham and cheese crossaints and savory filled rolls. Recently purchased a cake and it was excellent as well. They are definitely a bit on the pricey side, but worth the splurge.
The best bakery in town, hands down!! Always an ample selection, sweet and savory options abound. We got our wedding desserts here years ago. When we showed up for the tasting they had a dozen different desserts of varying prices points laid out. From cookies to mini pies and Bundt cakes, we were in hog heaven. We decided on Maple bacon cupcakes, cherry pie, and a whiskey Bundt cake like you've never seen. I can't say enough good about Batch.

I absolutely love this place! Last year when I moved to Madison, I discovered this place while waiting for a table at Ha Long Bay and I have been obsessed ever since. Although a bit on the pricy side, the pastries are absolutely phenomenal and definitely some of the best I've had.
