We had heard some mixed reviews but dinner last night was perfect! The food was all done exceptionally well and service was fantastic. First time and had a great time. Looking forward to coming back and trying some new things! Salmon and broccolini tasted perfect and my dining partner enjoyed their steak and mashed potatoes. Thank you for the wonderful meal and the servers for being so lovely.
Samantha was an amazing waitress! I dined solo and had such a memorable experience. She was attentive, easy going, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere is sophisticated without being too stuffy. Food was on point and plentiful. Would recommend this restaurant for anyone that’s looking for a fantastic steak and excellent service.
Best steak I’ve had in Madison, and honestly the best I’ve had anywhere. But what made the night was the service. I have celiac disease and a dairy allergy so eating out at a new place can cause a lot of anxiety. Our server, Dani, knew the entire menu — she walked me through which dishes were gluten free and which ones the kitchen could modify. The Draper Brothers Chophouse gets great ambiance, attentive staff and delicious food. A private room with a view of the Capital and a spot on the old fashioned that are muddled just right. Large prawns on a shrimp cocktail, home made Caesar dressing, and a perfect med-rare filet (Bone‑In) are. The team professionalism, attentiveness and made party feel welcome, a perfect place for a special dinner or a party of 22.
