“Great café that we went to based on the available vegetarian options. Tasted great and definitely will come back for more. Service was great, and willing to help us choose menu items and have a great meal.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options galore, and caters to gluten-free.“
“Finca Coffee is a great place to come relax, work, and meet up with friends. This unique cafe/ restaurant not only has a delicious menu from El Salvador but also brings with it the home-like cozy vibe of coming home to friends and family. I love returning here and exchanging greetings with the friendly owners. Also, they're looking for another barista so if you're looking to work with some great people, give them a call. I can't overstate how much I like this place.“
“Though there was a ~30 minute wait (for Saturday lunch), it was well worth it! The menu options all looked good, but I decided to go with Three Grain & Tempeh bowl. I've never had tempeh before, but it was warm, hearty, and perfect for a cold day. It was also very reasonably priced at $15.50 (before tax & tip). Though it was really busy, the inside was very warm & cozy. Overall, highly recommend!“
“First time Celiac visiting and oh my gosh.... best gf bakery I've had and there isn't a worry that I will get sick because it's a dedicated gf facility! Staff was super friendly and if it's your first visit, you even get a free sample of their fab chocolate. Will definitely be back!“
“One of my favorite foods is pastys, I was excited to learn about this place, otherwise you would find them normal in the u.p area of Wisconsin. All of the varieties are great! Had the chicken tikka masala one today, was awesome! I do like they wrap it in foil, because my 40min drive home it's still warm!“
“Good food, ample seating, many board games. I like that if you spend money on food and drinks, which I'm probably going to anyway, then there's no board game fee. The menu has a lot of options and the service is quick. I am interested in going to their events, but I wish the location was closer to downtown. I guess the parking is one benefit if the farther location though.“
“The coolest bubble tea shop in this area! The vibes/furniture are more traditional tea shop but there are multiple outlets at most seats and the menu is very creative with combination of traditional teas and interesting flavors. For-here drinks are served in glass mugs which is very eco-friendly. There's a sizeable collection of books and board games and lots of natural lighting. There's also a small food menu and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable.“
“Garth's is special not only due to their wide selection of rotating taps and large selection of craft beers/seltzers/ciders that you can purchase, but they also allow you to bring in food to eat which offers a ton of flexibility for anyone looking for a relaxed environment to have a drink. There's also a self-serve water/utensil station that allows people to enjoy their meals and stay hydrated effortlessly.I really enjoy coming here with my family to play some board games or just watch the hustle & bustle of Monroe street over a cold beverage. Staff have always been courteous and attentive during my visits, and the place is always very clean which goes a long way in creating a welcoming atmosphere.“
“I really love this place for the cozy community atmosphere and I come here often. Generally I’m really happy with the quality of food for the price. However, recently I got a panini for $11 and felt it was over priced considering there was only one slice of meet and 2 tomato slices in the panini with a side of chips.“
“My favorite coffee shop in Madison! I have a severe gluten allergy and they were very accommodating and knowledgeable, and made me a breakfast sandwich with a gluten free bagel in the oven instead of the panini press to avoid cross contamination. The coffee is incredible and if you can manage to get a table, the environment is awesome.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bagels/breakfast sandwiches“
“Fantastic bakery and breakfast menu, quinticential diner feel in an old house! Great coffee and pastries, great vegan options, too!Vegetarian options: Every meat option food has at least one vegan or vegetarian option, three or four types protein offered. Super place to enjoy a meal with friends.“
“I’ve been to this location twice now. I love the decor, the lighting etc. it does get busy! So it can be hard to find seating. So come early! Now on to the food..I’ve had the Hella Stella sandwich with sweet potato fries. She’s a messy sandwich but she’s so worth it!That sandwich is insanely good. WowI’ve also had a hot latte there, and they don’t skimp on the size!Highly recommend coming here for breakfast or brunch!“
“I’m amazed today! Best $42 I’ve spent all year! I’m looking forward to bumping into this business, especially if they’re setting up a tent at JUJU’s BLOCK PARTY AGAIN THIS YEAR!!! YAYY POWER NUTRITION❤️?Kid-friendliness: Dear kids and adults, you can buy any drink on the menu in a kid’s size. Fair?!“
“Happy to see this new location thriving! Coffee is good with variety of options available but not too many it becomes overwhelming - lots of options for tea drinkers as well! The food is amazing - highly recommend the Java Club as it was one of the best sandwiches i've had in a while - and in a market with ever increasing prices this place feels very fairly priced for what you get. Coupled with the fun atmosphere and art on the walls highly recommend checking this place out.Note that parking can be difficult - if busy times of the day parking across the street is much easier than hoping you can find a spot in the tiny parking lot“
“Amazing breakfast at an affordable cost! Our waitress was amazing and gave our 2 twins who accompanied us a small container of fruit loops to hold them over until their breakfast came. I thought that was the sweetest! super chill atmosphere and friendly staff! we will be back!“
“This is a solid spot for coffee in town. I don’t visit often because it can be busy with college students and hard to find seating, but the coffee is good and it’s fun to get coffee and walk through campus or to the lake! Parking is available a few blocks away on garages or on the street, so be prepared to navigate that!“
“The location offers excellent indoor seating. They take advantage of a building that was a first in terms of malls. I believe that was early 20th century. The grilled cheese sandwich was great. The coffee choices are a nice variety. Outdoor seating in nice weather is also excellent.“
“Came here for breakfast. I was excited for crepes, but wasn't excited about the choices. I would have liked to see an asparagusy- goat cheesy option. I ended up choosing the Crepe Supreme, which should have been called a southwest crepe. The filling was quite good, but didn't work with the crepe exterior. It should have been a tortilla. My matcha was fine- I've had better, I've had worse. All in all, I think the food was good enough for a return trip.“
“Goodness, I love this place. The food is amazing and the vibes are stellar. I've gotten a couple of the weekly meal kits and been thrilled with them, too. I especially recommend the smashed potatoes.Parking: Street parking plus a small lot next to the ice cream place next door.“
“Good food choices, Mom and Pop type business, good coffee and atmosphere to relax, use your laptop. The only issue I have is that they should add more charging ports and outlets because if it is busy, good luck finding an electrical outlet. Unlike in my generation, you need a battery, and a cord to function nowadays. LOL.“
“Love this place! Lots of seating, plus several small rooms that can be booked for free for meetings, including one specifically set up for podcast recording! Great selection of drinks and locally made baked goods, including the incredible vegan Level 5 donuts.“
“Good food! Prices are a little bit high, and the shopkeepers can be a little bit cranky, but I guess that's expected of the French ha ha. They have a lot of good pastries that are relatively authentic, and also some nonsweet things, like quiches. They also have crêpes on Saturday, and they must amazing thick, hot chocolate ever. It's definitely a nice morning outing on a weekend.“
“This was my first trip to Madison and I wanted to stay somewhere that had a lot of history and charm. The Governor's Mansion did not let me down! Our room was beautiful and really took me back in time. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio chairs while we gazed out on the water. Definitely a wonderful experience!“
“I am here from out of town. I had a break between engagements and the weather required I go get a chai and just be still for a bit. The staff were so pleasant. My chai was perfect. I hung out in a comfy chair for a little over an hour and had to go back for another drink. I most definitely recommend. reasonable prices, great staff, and a lovely environment for studying, people watching out the window, or a grab and go.“
“My girlfriend and I went to get some food at Wahlburgers and ordering was fast. No line. I had my food surprisingly fast but she had to wait for quite a while. Turns out it was a mix up in the kitchen. It really wasn't a big issue but they comped her meal and upgraded it for free. The cook came out and apologized for the mistake. The food was very good and worth the wait. I told them it was no big deal and we will be coming back for sure !!Parking: They have a good size parking lot. Lots of spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: Seemed to be fully wheel chair accessible.“
“Great diner food! Good omelettes, good vegan food, good local coffee. The wait times are nothing if it's slow, but it can take a long time if it's busy. It's always busy on the weekends if you get there after 9 or so.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetation omelettes, scrambles, and pancakes. Also a couple of tasty vegan options. Non-dairy milks available.“
“Donuts are fresh and delicious. Food is all delicious and made to order. Highly recommend. Service has always been exceptional, until today. This morning's visit was very different than our previous visits. We arrived to get donuts and some coffees, the restaurant was bustling, no wait. My husband inquired if they had yeast raised donuts, we got a response, "These donuts are all cake donuts." from the woman taking our order. Very short tone layered with annoyance. We then started our order. Again, my husband asked for half a dozen hot n' fresh donuts. She again with an annoyed tone asked, "What flavor??" I responded, "Cinnamon Sugar, please." She packed our donuts in a small box. They smelled divine, we were so excited. We decided to get 6 more glazed donuts, my husband asked, "We'd like 6 glazed, 3 regular glazed..." He was interrupted by the woman behind the counter, who snapped, "SO, YOU ACTUALLY WANT A DOZEN DONUTS?" We were stunned, we stood there for a moment unsure what to say. My husband responded, "Yes, 3 regular glazed and 3 chocolate glazed." She then grabbed a large box for a dozen or more donuts, literally opened our box of six hot and fresh Cinnamon sugar donuts and forcefully dump threw them in the box. Then, rearranged them and got our other 6 donuts. We were stunned by the rude tone and frustration that was shown to us on our visit today. We decided to pay and leave instead of oredering coffees to go with our morning treat. This experience this morning really soured our donuts and also have us questioning whether or not we will return. Sharing in case this is a chronic problem or in case we were singled out for some reason. Hoping all the patrons inside and those who walked in after us didn't experience the same level of disrespect to their food or in the treatment.“
