I was torn between 3 and 4 stars for this on-campus cafe. 4 star worthy features: -location (biased opinion, right next to my lab) -niceness of the employees -options for a quick snack (all the sweet or savory choices you could need) -three different coffee options everyday (including flavored like birthday cake- basically vanilla flavored coffee) 3 star worthy features: -their hot food is alright. Jane's is a funky little cafe & bakery. Surrounded by art from local artists. Open only till 3 in the after noon it's mostly breakfast and lunch. Counter served multi-cuisine fare that's fresh and family friendly. Their signature scones and pasteries are to die for with flavors you won't see anywhere else. Also great for Vegans and Vegetarians.

Usually fine for how convenient it is, but get a smoothie at your own risk. Whether it was because of a busted blender or misreading of ingredients, the mango kale was like eating bits of grass mixed with clumps of questionable consistency.
