“Best steak dinner we have had in years! Great place to go, friendly service and incredible experience. Worth every cent we spent. I rarely thank the kitchen....but tonight I was compelled to stick my head in and thank them! The coolest part was the team approach and calling out the person who cooked the steaks to make sure he got the credit. Great job to all at the Glarner Stube.“
“A fun place to drop in for some ice cream or a burger. The cheeseburger was delicious. Soft bun with crisped edges, perfectly cooked patty that wasn't too thick or too thin, great cheese selection, and fresh toppings. The perfect summertime lunch or treat spot.“
“The food is great and there was a lot to choose from. There was adequate staff that was efficient during an apparently frequent busy day. It was a relaxing and worry free cocktail and dining experience. I hope to have an opportunity to visit here again soon.“
“We were in the area for a weekend getaway and stopped here for lunch. We loved everything about this place! Service was great, atmosphere was inviting with all sorts of cozy spots to eat, and the food was amazing! The two of us each got a quiche of the day and selected different ones so we could try both. They were soooo good!Afterwards, I had a hard time selecting one of the many delicious treats for dessert. Everything looked so inviting, and I wasn't disappointed with my choice. I'd be a regular customer if we lived closer!!Parking: Free parking on the street and plenty of parking in a nearby parking lot.“
“We dropped in for an appetizer and beer before leaving New Glarus to return home. The atmosphere of the place was nice: warm and friendly. The bar tender was very attentive. We had Spotted Cows and fries which were good. The outside dining area was a comfortable place to relax.“
“Stopped here because my partner was hungry after a hike at New Glarus State Park. The place was clean and had nice outdoor seating. When we went the service was very slow but they apologized for the wait and they got the order right. Plenty of parking and right off the main road.“
“We arrived on a weekday invited by friends. It was our first visit and it was superb! Our host greeted us in a very friendly manner speaking distinctly and at the level that we elder (80s) people love to hear. Our food choices involved four different entrees and each drew praise. The service continued to be exemplary and our pleasant surroundings assured our host that we would be returning...soon.My wife and I highly recommend eating at this establishment!“
“It's my local! We moved to Belleville August of 2021, and I adore this place. Was made welcome almost immediately. Great food, great people. I strongly suggest any of the burgers, the Reuben when it's 'in season' (starts at St Patrick's day, goes til they're tired of making it), Thursday night nachos, Wednesday s'ghetti. Biscuits and Gravy that can make a Southerner cry (happily)! They don't take cards, but there's an ATM in the corner. Lots of alcohol choices to boot.“
“Great Very Friendly New Owners. They have brought some Life and some much needed Class to the Suger River Lanes. Marsha and Rob have Cleaned the Place Up and They both Always have the time to say Hello and Wave Staff are Always Great and remember what I like drinking. You see I live next door so, I know the above to be True 100%.“
“Walked into the Eagle Pass Saloon while on a Sunday drive, looking for a burger and a beer - and had one of the best cheap bar burgers of my life. The staff was friendly, the few assorted regulars were nice and chatted with us about the game on TV and never made us feel like outsiders in their small town bar, a common problem at many small town watering holes. We were served our drinks by the affable bartender and given menus. Me and my girlfriend had only come for burgers so we didn't look over the other items on offer too thoroughly, but I did see items apart from burgers; such as ribeye, fish, Philly, grilled chicken, BBQ pork, and turkey sandwiches. The burgers were cheap and huge. $3 for a burger, $3.50 for a cheeseburger, $4 for a bacon cheeseburger, $5.50 for a double cheeseburger, etc. we ordered three cheeseburgers between the two of us, thinking that at $3.50 apiece they wouldn't be very substantial and would leave us wanting. We also ordered some pretty standard issue waffle fries and some delicious hand dipped cheese curds to round out our calorie bomb meal. When the burgers arrived we felt pretty d*** having ordered 3 of them. They were huge; with thick slices of super ripe tomato, grilled onions, iceberg lettuce and pickle spears. I'd say they were close to the 1/2 pound mark, weight wise, my girlfriend thought maybe 1/3 pound. They appeared to be hand pattied and were well seasoned. All in all, some of the best bar food I've had in a long time, at a super cheap price. As I recall, I believe our bill came to $21 for 2 beers, 3 cheeseburgers with the works, and a big basket each of waffle fries and curds. Great deal, great place, great food! Definitely going back some future Sunday. Oh, it should also be noted by Yelp that this business is mis-categorized as a hair salon, not a Saloon/Bar and Grill.“
“This restaurant has amazing food that you can tell is homemade with fresh ingredients. The food quality is amazing and the people who make and serve it are always very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend coming in, seating yourself, and enjoying a wonderful breakfast/lunch/dinner here anytime you can.“
“Lunch time. Appetizers of cheese curds andHomemade Jalapeno Wontons. Curds looked homemade and were very. Wontons were homemade with cream cheese with fresh chopped jalapeño’s in a wonton wrapper served with sweet Thai chili sauce. Mild and really good. Then burgers made your way. Service was very good considering it was around noon.“
“Great food, excellent service. Selection and execution is superior compared to other fine-dining restaurants in the area. My wife and I live in New Glarus and go to Kristi's pretty often. Our favorites include chipotle salmon (mahi mahi is also an option) with a wonderful flavorful sauce. Seared ahi tuna on greens with a vinaigrette is an amazing appetizer. Great dessert choices and cocktails.“
