Walked into the Eagle Pass Saloon while on a Sunday drive, looking for a burger and a beer - and had one of the best cheap bar burgers of my life. The staff was friendly, the few assorted regulars were nice and chatted with us about the game on TV and never made us feel like outsiders in their small town bar, a common problem at many small town watering holes. Charming place to have a few drinks, meet some characters in a small town atmosphere and exchange stories. The owner is a really cool guy and the staff is friendly. I always try to tip strong here. =)
