“We have been here twice and the food, service and atmosphere have been amazing each time. The Saturday prime rib melts in your mouth and the drinks go down easy. Oh and the CHEESEBALL?! If I could put the heart eyes emoji I would. Price is reasonable and fair for the amount of food you get. Staff and owners are hard workers and love the business. 10/10 recommend!“
“It's Culver's, you know what you're coming here for. My personal favorite items are the bacon cheese burgers and the buffalo chicken strips. What really sets this place apart is the people who staff it and the owners who so clearly care about their community presence. All the staff, from the teens first starting out to the part timers just getting out of the house, they are always in a good mood and it makes the whole place better for it.“
“Couldn't wait to try this place after hearing about it. Our expectations were exceeded! Outstanding food, service and atmosphere. There were six of us and everyone enjoyed their meal. We arrived before the dinner rush on a Saturday night, so we were in an out fairly quickly. Looking forward to visiting again.“
“A buddy and I were passing through while headed to a Twins-Cubs game in MSP via Wisconsin Dells. We had wanted to eat in Madison around the college but it was graduation weekend and everything was booked and had huge waits. So we ended up here. I am so glad we did! My buddy had the fish fry and I had a burger. He said the fish was outstanding and my burger was on the best I have had in years. I wish this place was closer to home!“
“What a fun vibe in a great location w/ easy parking! They were playing great jazz tunes which actually sounded ‘live.’ Rita, our waitress was lovely— thank you Rita! All 4 of us enjoyed our drinks (I loved the Honey Martini!), salads & entrees. The special: jerk chicken pasta was perfectly seasoned and the thin crust mushroom pizza was delicious! The special rum cake was to die for!! Keep up the great work and thank you!“
“It would be hard to find a more authentic Wisconsin experience without driving deep into the state. Owner is a very nice guy, veteran, has worked there for years and took it over from the previous owner and has kept the history going. A friendly warm place.“
“The staff here are unmatched, the food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is fun!Parking: Parking lot across the street as well as plenty of street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is accessible as well as the top patio area.“
“We were looking for a new place to try and found this hidden gem. Great home made food and family friendly. It's not a big restaurant but there's plenty of seating. We were pleasantly surprised and very happy with the service. We will be coming back!“
“I got my first chance to eat at Coopers Monday night. Sat at the bar with a friend and had great service from Kelsey B.! One thing that I don’t do is drink tap water…. and finally a nice restaurant carry’s Acqua Panna served in a wine class with a lemon!!!! Love it!! Both our steaks were cooked perfectly!! Then to top it off, the Manager named Ross stops over and surprised us with a slice of Carrot Cake!!! My man! ?. The ambience was perfect, not too much light and not too dim. ??“
“I ordered the Mushroom Chicken. It was delicious! Two tender grilled chicken breasts and a very nice fresh mushroom sauce. Large enough entree for two to share. It comes with a choice of side so I went with the roasted potatoes and it was perfect with the mushrooms chicken!“
“I saw the reviews, so I gave it a shot. Let me start with the fact that I was pretty hungry to begin with, and I'm a foodie. I sat down here during slow hours (~7pm on a Monday) with no expectations. Within 60 seconds I had my water (no ice) in front of me, with the chips and the queso (I requested the queso). Within another minute someone was ready to take my order. I asked for their opinion and they said the burrito diablo. Less than 10 full minutes from walking in elapsed before my food was given to me. Now, as a person, I'm chronically online- always. I scroll through my meals 95+% of the time. While I ate this burrito, I forgot my phone and the Internet existed altogether. I had only one mission: eat this food for all it is worth. And I did. Before I could finish a handful of chips after the burrito, they kindly brought the check over and made sure I enjoyed the meal. Total cost for the burrito diablo + side of queso (queso is typically supposed to be shared): $22.30. The service was great, the food was phenomenal, and I certainly wouldn't get my food faster at any other restaurant. 10/10, I'll be going here for my birthday“
“Love this place. It's totally unassuming. You'd think it was just a dive bar on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere...but it's much more. Fantastic food and great supper club atmosphere. Really, really nice patio. A must visit!!“
“Free house made a very tasty smash burger/ hamburger for me today…it was really good! It took really really long for them to take our order and cook my burger though…like 20 minutes to order and 20 minutes to cook. It was very tasty though!“
“This place is an old-school tavern style bar, on Railroad street next to Miller's Market. It has clean bathrooms, with drinks a plenty and freshly fried, quickly served bar food. This is a great hole in the wall with darts and music, great service, friendly patrons with generous hours.“
“New to the area we found this restaurant on yelp. We went for a hamburger and were very happy to have stumbled across a delicious meal, welcoming atmosphere, and additional entertainment with bingo. We will be back for both the food and bingo.“
“We were given our total and then when we received our check the total charged didn't match the total stated and she walked away before we could ask why were were rounded up. Afterwards we said we'd go again because the food was so good but we'd watch our bill more closely. It's one thing to earn a tip and be left it but to round up after saying a total doesn't make sense“
“There was a buffet with several meat and vegetable options as well as salad and homemade rolls and ? desserts. It was wonderful. The building is an old mill and very quaint with a gift shop with homemade home goods and jellies and jams. Atmosphere is fantastic, service excellent. Highly recommend The Old Feed Mill.“
“I was pretty happy with the food here, though there was a variation in quality. The fried food was really good (fries and calamari fries). The hamachi and ribs were also good. Wasn't a huge fan of the tacos (pork and short ribs). Nice ambiance but very dark -- not really any windows. Good drinks and service was great. Id give them 3 stars for the food and 4 or 5 for everything else.“
“We ended up in this city by mistake and by mistake we found this restaurant. Cheese curds are better then most I ever tried. Food in general is amazing and prices are great. Definitely will visit this cute city and this cute bar again and again in the future. Absolutely “
“The food there is always outstanding, especially the jalapeño wontons! Usually the staff is friendly and helpful, I would say the dark-haired female bartender was the one-off; seemed like she hated her life, job or maybe both.Parking: Plenty of parking in the parking lot but street parking is also available where this establishment is located.Kid-friendliness: They have an area away from the bar for families with or without kiddos!“
“Beautiful restaurant, has a lovely ambiance to it. Appetizer portions are large. Multiple entree dishes are overpriced. Highly recommend the bistro salad. The waiter was very disconnected and had more of a clinical side than a personal one when interacting with us. The crème brûlée was eggy, did not have much flavor, and did not have a good thick caramelization on top.Vegetarian options: There are salads, seasonal risotto, and a delicious bread and herb butter appetizer.“
“Had a nice meal with my sister here, needs a better sign to advertise it's business. It's kind of easy to miss it, with the round-about being so close to it. But they definitely have good food, at reasonable prices.Parking: Around 40 parking places, with a few handicapped spots for parking“
“We decided to try this Cafe out on an incredibly busy night! The food was excellent and the service was extraordinary! The manager waited on us because they were so busy! He stopped by twice to ask if we needed anything! Will definitely be back. I love the ambience!“
“One of the best smoked pulled pork sandwiches I have ever had. Well worth a visit. The new ownership is making what was a great place even better! The incredible collection of sports memorabilia is still here, and the dedication to serving the best of food and spirits has never been stronger.“
“Giving it 5 stars because even tho the food isn't the best in Madison, it is pretty damn good even if it's just bar food. Service was great too, quick and always had a full drink, which is always appreciated. We went for March Madness games and were not disappointed as they have plenty of TVs to watch the games, including some in the dining room I'd you want to more family friendly environment to eat and watch the games.“
“I was having a horrible day on vacation due to issues with our hotel. Without knowing any of this a lovely absolute angel of an employee came around to ask if our food was OK and we sat and had a 15 minute conversation about random stuff. She took some of my stress away simply by just asking a few questions and making sure our food was good. I'd return if back in the area for sure!“
“We drove an hour to see--and dance--to the Dan Lepien band. Great atmosphere! Hats off to the bar/wait staff for outstanding service! The food was great. Loved talking with owner about Army and Army sports. Thank you for your son's service. The only negative for us and others that follow Dan was that you didn't have the band in your dance hall. We and others specifically called ahead to check on a dance floor. That would've made a great night even better for us.“
