“We pass this place on our 4hr drive to my parents and always plan a morning stop here for breakfast and coffee. We usually take it to go and it’s never disappointed! This past time I ordered ahead but mistyped my number, the order got accidentally cancelled but the staff quickly made the order to help us get back on our trip- which I was so very thankful due to a crabby toddler with us.”

“Our group tried The Hilltop Supper Club last night and I loved it. We sat at the bar while waiting for our table. I had a sweet brandy old-fashioned. The bartender was friendly and prompt and my drink was excellent. The hostess sat us at our table and our waitress arrived promptly to take drink and appetizer orders. I highly recommend the cheese ball. It's the size of a softball and filled with a variety of herbs. Creamy, flavorful and served with several dozen Townhouse crackers. We also had the dynamite shrimp. They have a very mild kick from the mayo sauce. I'm not a mayo fan and this did not change my mind, but those of us at the table who like mayo thought they were good. For dinner I had the perch fish fry with potatoes au gratin. My first bite of the potatoes was cheesy goodness. I really, really liked these. One of my dining companions felt like there should have been more and I would certainly have eaten more, but I thought the portion size was good. There were six perch fillets. The perch was delicious. I would have preferred a lighter batter, but I would definitely order this again. For dessert a couple of us ordered ice-cream drinks. They mudslide and the salted caramel. Both was creamy and delicious and I would highly recommend either. I would happily return to the Hilltop. Great experience.”

“Everything I order is so delicious. I recently ordered the wonton soup and the sweet and sour chicken 2nd time. It still is so delicious. The only thing I changed is I said extra hot and spicy. The general Tso’s chicken and the sweet and sour chicken and the shrimp egg rolls are magnificent. I order once a week and sometimes twice. Great every time. Hot, fresh and quick. You can only order out from here.”

“A huge shoutout to the Cross Plains Culver's team! We were there when the storm sirens went off today. They were so kind and helpful when we all had to go into the basement. We learned there are only a few Culver's that have basements! We waited out the storm and staff was super friendly to my 3-yr old during what could have been a scary experience. When the storm passed they all jumped back into action helping customers and making food. I'll be back thanks to the kindness of the team.”

From the moment we walked in, the ambiance struck us as both elegant and inviting. The decor was sophisticated, setting the perfect tone for a delightful meal. Upon our arrival, the executive chef greeted us with a warm smile, which immediately made us feel welcomed. With our excitement, we dove into the menu and decided to sample a variety of dishes: lomo saltado, paella, ceviche mixto, truffle yuca fries, and anticucho. Each dish was a masterpiece, showcasing just the right balance of flavors. We savored every bite, feeling completely satisfied yet still we left a room for dessert. We chose to indulge in alfajores, arroz con leche, and pisco tres leches. She even has us try the passion fruit juice and one of their specialty dessert. Desserts were the perfect ending to our meal, the ideal balance of sweetness and texture that we wanted. Overall, our experience at AmarPeru was fantastic! We left feeling full and happy, already planning our return to explore more of their culinary offerings. “Love going to Toot and Kates. Whether for a work brainstorming session or just a night out with friends we love it! I’m not a big wine drinker, but their Pineapple Margs are to die for (it’s a special item but so worth going for), and I’ve found a really lovely sipping tequila there that has become a favorite. Plus cheese boards, truffles, and pretzels are super tasty and a great snack while chatting. Would definitely recommend to anyone!”
