“The food here is very good. We like going midweek for the fish fry, and the ribs are quite good, too. My only complaint is that the non-fish fry menu has —count them — three chicken and pasta dishes, all with that heavy and rich Alfredo sauce. Last time there, I asked the waitress if I could get the pasta without the Alfredo, and she said no. Can't they offer one chicken-pasta dish without the goopy Alfredo? Does carbonara have to have Alfredo sauce? How about a simple primavera? Please?”

“Everything I order is so delicious. I recently ordered the wonton soup and the sweet and sour chicken 2nd time. It still is so delicious. The only thing I changed is I said extra hot and spicy. The general Tso’s chicken and the sweet and sour chicken and the shrimp egg rolls are magnificent. I order once a week and sometimes twice. Great every time. Hot, fresh and quick. You can only order out from here.”

Upon our arrival, the executive chef greeted us with a warm smile, which immediately made us feel welcomed. With our excitement, we dove into the menu and decided to sample a variety of dishes: lomo saltado, paella, ceviche mixto, truffle yuca fries, and anticucho. Each dish was a masterpiece, showcasing just the right balance of flavors. We savored every bite, feeling completely satisfied yet still we left a room for dessert. We chose to indulge in alfajores, arroz con leche, and pisco tres leches. She even has us try the passion fruit juice and one of their specialty dessert. Desserts were the perfect ending to our meal, the ideal balance of sweetness and texture that we wanted. Overall, our experience at AmarPeru was fantastic! We left feeling full and happy, already planning our return to explore more of their culinary offerings. No me gusta si no es fresco, o si tiene mucha grasa, y si tiene paquetes de sazón, se me enchina el cuerpo y me da un dolorón de cabeza que no aguanto (literal, porque le tengo alergia al glutamato monosodico). I crossed my fingers and sent in an order. Elisa worked with me to make sure I got exactly the cake I wanted at the time I needed it. To say the cake was beautiful is an understatement.
