“Hosted a birthday lunch for 24 in the private dining room. Staff was super accommodating and helpful both in planning and day of event. Allowed us in early to decorate and even offered to cut cake and take group photo on deck overlooking the golf course. Everyone enjoyed their meals, even our picky vegetarian!“

Employees working at this location are somewhat friendly.
Lobby is somewhat clean but could be more organized.
Restrooms are clean.
Only difference now is there are kiosks available.

“Absolutely amazing food! The al pastor tacos are easily the best I’ve had outside of Mexico—unbelievable flavor and perfectly seasoned. Honestly, there isn't a bad item on the menu. The charquito tacos and the papas con carne are both fantastic. While the carne asada is just okay, everything else is so exceptionally good that this place easily deserves five stars. A must-visit!“

“Had dinner here for the first time tonight. Got there a little before dinner rush, great service even when it started to get busy. All the food was great. Even my picky 10 yr old liked the chicken quesadilla. lol Recommend the sweet potato taco.“

“We hired El Pastor for our 150 person wedding and they were a hit! The food was amazing and people were so complimentary of having a Mexican buffet for our outdoor summer wedding. We had mini chimichangas, chips, guac, queso for cocktail hour and a taco buffet for dinner. It was all so good and the churros were amazing! 10/10 More than the food, the service from Lino and his family/staff was amazing. He was so kind and accommodating, they were amazing on the day of as well. We used disposable plates/cutlery and it was great! High quality food, people, and service. Would super recommend for your wedding or other event!“

“I’ve enjoyed La Penca since it opened in 2019 on Park Street. Since then a Verona and recently a McFarland location have been added. Outstanding authentic Mexican cuisine. Jesus Ramirez, the owner, knows what he is doing! Great menu includes vegetarian and non-spicy dishes. Big selection of Mexican beers and delicious margaritas, all inexpensively priced. So many favorites including chiles rellenos and tinga (chicken tacos. Highest recommendation. Stop by and enjoy. You will not be disappointed!“

“We've been to Mexli a couple of times now and recommend it. The portions are ample, the staff is super friendly, and the food is good. The first time we went our server recommended the chilaquiles. I didn't get that, my husband did, and I wish I had! My huevos rancheros were good, but the chilaquiles were amazing! I got them on my second visit. I'm sorely tempted by the sweet breakfasts the next time we go.“

“My boyfriend and I LOVE this location! They always have great food, remember us and our order, and their manager Joanne is so sweet everytime. We’ve been to a few different QDOBAs in the Madison area and Fitchburg never disappoints. We love the large window views they have and it’s a perfect, cheap date night.“
“High-back booths provide a cozy and private atmosphere while telling you you're in for an authentic Hispanic meal with traditional vibrat colors. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. And brought chips \u0026 salsa with out drinks. I would have loved some fresh guacamole, but settled fir their fresh Pico instead. (Avocados were out of season). All the food was fast, fresh, and delicious. I pounded 5 tacos and was in agony - 4 would have been plenty, but I had to top it off with dessert anyways. ??“

“Randomly stopped here tonight with my mom and stumbled upon a gem. Best Mexican Restaurant in Madison HANDS DOWN. The atmosphere gives quality authentic Mexican and i loved that. “LaBamba tacos are my absolute favorite restaurant tacos, local or otherwise. Been eating them there for decades. My favorite is a bean/avocado taco. Appreciate that they grill the tortillas before making tacos, rather than serve without heating/ finishing. It makes a difference. “Por lo regular, soy muy muy delicada cuando se trata de la comida mexicana. No me gusta si no es fresco, o si tiene mucha grasa, y si tiene paquetes de sazón, se me enchina el cuerpo y me da un dolorón de cabeza que no aguanto (literal, porque le tengo alergia al glutamato monosodico). Obvio que mi comida favorita es la que cocina mi mamá y mi hermano que es chef. Pero me dio ganas de unos tacos y sí me gustó mucho la comida de AzTec. Comida fresca, más estilo casera. La carne jugosa y sabrosa. Las tortillas hechas a mano. Y la salsa roja, ¡delicioso! Bravo, y ahora se con quien ir si quiero disfrutar de antojitos mexicanos aquí en Verona.“
