My favorite is the Al pastor tacos with the cilantro and onion with a side of grilled onion and jalapeno with a coke.

No me gusta si no es fresco, o si tiene mucha grasa, y si tiene paquetes de sazón, se me enchina el cuerpo y me da un dolorón de cabeza que no aguanto (literal, porque le tengo alergia al glutamato monosodico). The nachos are large enough for two people and one could argue the same for the burrito. There was little to no fat in the Birria & it was so delicious & flavorful. “This might be one of the best Mexican restaurants in town. It is a small place but delivers big. You can tell that everything is fresh. The meat has the perfect flavoring. It is not overwhelmingly spicy but has the right amount of heat. Plus, you can taste the spices but you can also tell that it is still meat and it has the flavor of meat. The burittos are a good size. They make it right in front of you and you can put anything you want on it. Don't skip past this place just because it is out of the way.“

“I like this place but CHECK YOUR ORDER. They mess up a lot. They have good food, but they really need to step it up when it comes to order accuracy and being fair to all customers when they put them out of their way. The most two recent times I ordered hard shell tacos and got pork tacos. Today the forgot a side of Esquites which is $6.The staff member was refunding an order to a gentleman that had to come back because they gave him the wrong order when I first arrived. It's my turn and they offered nothing. While I can understand it was a side, I ordered from Uber and they wouldn't let me take it off the order for whatever reason, so I had to come back. That's putting a customer out of their way and you really don't get much with Esquites despite the $6 cost. Not charging me for that would have been nice for having to drive all the way back there.“

“We hired El Pastor for our 150 person wedding and they were a hit! The food was amazing and people were so complimentary of having a Mexican buffet for our outdoor summer wedding. We had mini chimichangas, chips, guac, queso for cocktail hour and a taco buffet for dinner. It was all so good and the churros were amazing! 10/10 More than the food, the service from Lino and his family/staff was amazing. He was so kind and accommodating, they were amazing on the day of as well. We used disposable plates/cutlery and it was great! High quality food, people, and service. “I’ve enjoyed La Penca since it opened in 2019 on Park Street. Since then a Verona and recently a McFarland location have been added. Outstanding authentic Mexican cuisine. Jesus Ramirez, the owner, knows what he is doing! Great menu includes vegetarian and non-spicy dishes. Big selection of Mexican beers and delicious margaritas, all inexpensively priced.
