“Our server was Iran. As soon as we walked toward the counter, he smiled warmly and greeted us. I’m kind of high maintenance, but Iran was very patient and double checked to make sure my order was correct. Our order came up very quickly, and was perfect. When we were leaving, Iran said “goodbye” and again gave us a genuine smile.“

Pesto Pasta – Mushrooms, tomatoes, caramelized onions, and house pesto with cavatappi pasta, finished with white wine and cream. Freshly cooked al dente. Everything about this dish was pure perfection. Deviled Eggs – Four deviled eggs topped with smoked paprika, chives, and crispy shallots. Simple, elevated, and flat-out delicious. Crème Brûlée – Amazing. Smooth, rich, and executed exactly how it should be. Salted Caramel Blondie – Different than what I was expecting, but in a good way — unique and worth trying. 🍽️ Overall Verdict 9.3 out of 10 Ollie’s delivers top-tier food, consistency, and flavor across the board. “My office loves to order from Thai Noodles. They are always able to take an order for 12 people with a pickup in 90 min with no issue. I honestly cannot think of a time with any food issues. I have dined in a few times as well and no issues with that either. It is the only place I have found I actually enjoy tofu :) Highly recommend.“

“JustVeggiez 100% Vegan is just plain one of the best restaurants in Madison. Burgers, pizza, wraps, lasagna, big salads, teriyaki, burritos and tacos, GF options...the menu is large and so varied. Plus they have acai bowls, desserts, milkshakes, ice cream and cookies! There's a gorgeous big counter complete with video screens, or table seating where you can people watch on State Street, and the orange and green walls and artwork give a fun vibe. You can even order weekly meal plans for home delivery, and they do catering, too. Alcohol license is in the works, for those interested in that, and they will have outdoor seating starting in the spring. I personally love the Strawberry Walnut Salad, the Lo Mein, the Reuben sandwich, and the BBQ Tofu Wrap, not to mention the vegan cheese curds and the roasted potatoes side dish.“

“We had heard good things about Lallande and we were not disappointed. We ate at the bar which I would highly recommend. Our server was Nina and she made the evening fun. I had the salmon and my husband had the lamb chops. Generous portions and absolutely delicious. We also had the chicken pate which was so good. But the highlight for us was the carrot tarte. A must have, if you go.The owner Ann Marie was working in the kitchen keeping all the balls in the air, but she took time to visit with us and made us feel extra welcome. Do yourself a favor and dine at Lallande on Monroe St. Perhaps we'll see you there because we'll be back! Five stars.“

She nicely engaged in joking conversation, went above and beyond to accommodate our special request, and frequently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. “Really exceptional bowl of chirashi. You have to look a bit to find this on their menu but it's there...just a bit buried. That's not really a surprise as I consider chirashi to be the hidden secret on a quality sushi places' menu. No exception this time!

Everything was nice and fresh plus the assortment was great! I enjoyed being able to note the differences between 3 different varieties of tuna. I really enjoyed the pairing of the salmon roe with the snapper and found the salmon to be melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Seared albacore was really tasty as well. Best bite of the night? The big eye tuna. I generally prefer bluefin but had both side-by-side and enjoyed the big eye piece more.

Rice under the lettuce threw me a little but I guess that was the chef's attempt to segment the dish a bit. I tossed the lettuce aside and enjoyed the balance of the dish, including the assortment of vegetables as well.

Chirashi is a great way to go if you're really just interested in the fish. The tables around me were heavily laden with trays and platters full of rolls that just oozed ingredients all over. I'm a bit more of a purist and really enjoyed the chirashi but I would guess their rolls are pretty fantastic as well, if that's your thing.“

“We were in town for a concert and stopped here on our way back home. The food and service were top notch! Very fresh tasting food and amazing coffee!! It was a happy accident we ended here from a random apple map search. So glad we stumbled upon them!“

“Had a great dinner on a Saturday night. Dined at a late seating and staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dishes were great, the deviled eggs were a great starter for our table and the entrees were big portions with a lot going on (on a good way). The farm to table and seasonal ingredients really accompanied the main proteins. I had schnitzel which was great. Others had the massive ribeye for 2 and boullabaisse and everyone enjoyed their meals.

“Staff was really kind and attentive to all the customers and I loved seeing them have genuine conversations with customers.
The hot apple cider was also really hot so it kept me warm in the negative degree weather. The apple cider does taste like every single other apple cider and doesn't taste unique and not to mention it being 7 bucks. I guess the price was worth the work the staff put in though.

“This cafe has many delicious options for food. It however does not have celiac safe options. The cross contamination is too high. They do note this if you call them by stating that they can't guarantee there isn't. But I would not eat here if you have celiacs because I did twice and it made me incredibly sick. Again the food in my opinion is delicious, it just isn't celiacs safe.“

“I wish I had taken this photos of the food before I dug in. Delicious chilequiles, and even better ranchos huervos. The food is extremely fresh and flavorful. It's a unique take on something I've seen in every form, but they get it right with little surprises in every bite. Do yourself a favor and get the orange juice. The fresh sweetness really helps stabilize the slight spice and heaviness of the food.“

“One of my favorite foods is pastys, I was excited to learn about this place, otherwise you would find them normal in the u.p area of Wisconsin. All of the varieties are great! Had the chicken tikka masala one today, was awesome! I do like they wrap it in foil, because my 40min drive home it's still warm!“
