“Was in town, stopped by on a whim and it was fantastic. the service was great but the food was where it was at. visited Thailand many times and the food took me back to sunshine, street food, etc. the sweet rice and mango was the best I've had in a while with actual big mango pieces. delicious!“

“The mango custard that came with the sticky rice was a lovely surprise. Excellent service. Keep in mind that their spice levels are meant for Caucasians, so if you like it Thai-spicy, you will have to specify. It wasn't at all bland, just not hot. I had ka ree, ka ree puffs, thom kha, and sticky rice.“

“We've been ordering from Thai Basil for years. They are a staple in our family and I'm happy to see them move into the expanded location. I've had great noodles, curries, salads, and appetizers, and the fried rice is easy-mode for the kids.“

“Food was good. Nice variety of options. My only 2 issues was our water was tepid - the ice had melted before it got to us. And they don't take debit - cash only. Luckily we had enough cash.
Parking: Must park on the street. Free, but be aware.“

“Always fresh, filling, affordable, and delicious. The lady who serves up these ginormous rolls is also very kind and friendly, so it’s quite enjoyable chatting with her if she doesn’t have a line of people that’s 20+ deep which is fairly common during warmer seasons.“

“Yall went off. It was my birthday weekend and have been away from home for about a decade and only really cook lao/hmong food for myself. I came with my partner and in laws. We got pork belly, crab rangoon, papaya salad, quarter of chicken, sticky rice, and khaopoon with clear broth and the best chicken fried rice. I felt at home and everything was on point. Thank you.“

“After my husband’s appointment at the Madison VA ( we are from about 1 1/2 hour out of town) we ate at this Laotian restaurant called Ahan ~ It took a single bite for my husband & he said he was instantly transported back to the Laos boarder (50+ years ago)! As for myself, I have also had the pleasure of global travel & this is quite possibly some of the best Asian / Laotian cuisine I have ever experienced. Do yourself a favor & come here!!“

“It’s a big, balanced bowl of food for like ten dollars. Plus a few bucks for protein. be warned, one bowl is a LOT of food for one person. Great value, and the food tasted pretty good.
Vegetarian options: Basically everything is base vegetarian, and then you add protein. They have tofu, tempeh, egg, and lentil meatballs.“
