“Food was delicious! Server was very nice. Love that they do half priced appetizers. I give it 4 stars because when we went for the first time last week it was freezing!! Even my husband thought it was cold... he is never cold! They definitely did not have the heat on and I had my newborn with me:(“
“Loads of free chips and salsa to start, and portion sizes are very generous! Great service and food was so good I didn't even think to put extra hot sauce on my meal! Oh and be sure to try the deep fried ice cream! Will definitely be coming back!“
“Great place and friendly staff customer ahead of me in drive thru had very large order and all I wanted was a strawberry lemonade and cinnamon twists for my girlfriend and so I called ahead to make sure that they were open and when I got there and told them I was the guy that called they said to come up and very generously gave me the strawberry lemonade and cinnamon twists for free so thanks a lot guys great customer service“
“Hands down, this is the BEST chile relleno I've had in my entire life and I'm not young!! Get the tamales as well! You won't regret it. Mmmmm. My mouth right now is jealous of my mouth 30 seconds ago when it had chile relleno in it.“
“I was surprised to find a great Mexican restaurant in a small Wisconsin town on a recent trip. The staff were friendly and helpful, prices were excellent, food was tasty and generous, and the atmosphere made me feel like I was back in MX for the evening.“
“3 different types of homemade salsa along with chips at the beginning of the meal, good ethnic music, laid back atmosphere, fantastic food at a great price. This has become my new favorite place to eat in whitewater. I’ve been there a handful of times with consistent results.“
“If you’re in whitewater and you’re looking for the best authentic Mexican food then you need to come here! All you needs is like $10-15 and you’ll go home with a bunch of food that makes you keep on coming back because it’s so good. When you’re inside ask Luis what’s the newest sauces he made!“
“As a Boston native, I came here so often, I joked about living upstairs from this place. The owner is so friendly and an amazing cook! His tacos are like none I've ever had, nor can find in Boston. I honestly wished the kitchen stayed open later. Great prices too! I love Jose's!“
“Asada fries are top tier. I'll always enjoy a steak taco or burrito as well. The tres leches cake will smack your taste buds so hard you'll come crawling back for more. The service has always been excellent. Also, the waitress Amber is pretty cute too.“
“We've eaten at some great and some horrible breakfast places. Both of our entrees were really good. I had the crepes and the crepes were thick enough that they didn't fall apart, with fresh blueberries and lots of them and like a massive amount of whipped cream covering them. No syrup needed. Hubby had the biscuits and gravy with poached eggs. He said it was a unique take on a normal dish and it was flavorful. He said it was very yummy, lol. I also had a side of crispy bacon. The server was super friendly, like she treated us like family friendly. It was so refreshing. Prices were reasonable. Definitely give them a try.“
