Great authentic Mexican food. I had the steak fajitas burrito. It was delicious and huge. I also had a couple margaritas and they were excellent. We had a family of four, all adult meals, and some margaritas and price was better than expected for the size and quality of the meals and drinks.
My book club enjoyed the food, drinks, and service at El Gallo. Everything was delicious, except their chips and salsa that were served for free. The chips were subpar and needed a little salt. The salsa was thin and watery.
This is the best Mexican eating place in madison the waiters are so kind and compassionate and the food is delicious
