“This is one of my FAVORITE places in the Madison area; HANDS DOWN!! 🙌🏻 The best thing about this place is the people. 💯 The vibe you’ll find is one of humility, salt of the earth, kindness, inclusiveness, all are welcomed, loved, and accepted here type of place. I liken it to that bar, Cheers, where everybody knows your name… 😆❤️‍🩹🥹 Now, who wouldn’t want to hang at a place like that? 🤍💜🤍💜🤍💜🤍 But, wait! “We met friends who were from out of town for lunch at Buck & Honey's on Sunday. They had never been there, so with my wife and me having been there before and very much impressed, we suggested it. What an incredible atmosphere, superb food quality and service that is so rare these days. We sure had a very memorable time and dining experience and will be coming back again very soon. Our guests could not stop raving about this place also. A shot out to our waitress Aliyah for such an outstanding job taking care of us. “Great authentic Mexican food. I had the steak fajitas burrito. It was delicious and huge. I also had a couple margaritas and they were excellent. We had a family of four, all adult meals, and some margaritas and price was better than expected for the size and quality of the meals and drinks.“

If it says spicy it’s spicy but it also delivers a balance of flavor with heat. It was an explosion of awesome in my mouth. “We held a birthday party at State Line Distillery on short notice due to weather concerns with the outdoor venue that was planned. They were exceptionally welcoming and extremely accommodating. So many guests commented on what a great space State Line offers—both inside and outside. Not to mention the delicious high-quality drinks and friendly, helpful staff. High praise and top recommendations for this local gem. 💜“

“Fantastic cozy bar. This was our first stop on a round of three different bars recently and was by far our favorite. The decor is somewhat sparse and reminiscent of an art gallery, but the lighting and fun amenities (arts & crafts, coffee table books, Thursday night free snacks) add to the charm. The drinks were unique and fresh and the service was good. I appreciated the offerings of N/A beverages that weren’t just soda on tap. I had a grapefruit Sage fizzy N/A drink and my spouse had a lovely gin mixed drink (gin, passion fruit, tea). Definitely will be back!“

“I planned a 30 person surprise brunch party at Madison’s and they did a great job in every way. They were specifically good at communicating before hand and adjusting to my requests like ordering a champagne tower, and having drinks for me and my fiancée ready at the door when we walked in. Food and drinks were quick and the price was in my budget. I worked with Andrea, Henry, Hailey and Rachel was our server. The staff seemed like they were genuinely having a great time with us and having this party.“

In the midst of many, many new Asian restaurants on or near State Street, Haven stands out for having a warm, open, well-lit and tasteful atmosphere--including not only a few games but a well-chosen, literate bookshelf that welcomes you to linger. The tea selection finally brings us back to the long-lost day of Dobra tea, finally expanding the State Street area Asian dining experience beyond bag tea. The food is equal to these other successes. I had the braised beef noodle bowl. This was a generous, flavorful no-nonsense bowl with a goodly bone-n joint of beef in the midst of the other hearty chucks of meat. The broth and the noodles were up to the same generous, flavorful standard. I observed in passing that they seem to have the liquor selection they will need to fit in with State Street, though that isn't a reason why I stopped in. I will certainly be back.“

“We held our welcome party at Delta Beer Lab the night before our wedding, and it exceeded our wildest expectations! The team at Delta was incredibly easy to work with throughout the planning process and made the entire evening feel seamless. We also loved the wide variety of drinks available, which gave all of our guests plenty of great options.

“One of my favorite foods is pastys, I was excited to learn about this place, otherwise you would find them normal in the u.p area of Wisconsin. All of the varieties are great! Had the chicken tikka masala one today, was awesome! I do like they wrap it in foil, because my 40min drive home it's still warm!“

The guests loved it on a hot, summer day, and it felt a lot more memorable than cake. They were super easy to work with in booking the event and the employee who worked our event was so kind. It was a huge hit and the ice cream was, of course, delicious! We would definitely book them again for a large event and would recommend them to friends.“

“We came for lunch, as I was looking for a good ribeye. Immediately felt at ease upon entering. Even though it appeared pretty busy, we were sat right away. We needed time to peruse the menu, and our server Jordan never made us feel rushed. He brought us water, and gave us some time. We had the spinach dip, bone in ribeye, and ahi tuna steak. It was obvious that the dip was freshly made, and my rare ribeye was the best steak I’ve had in a long time. The housemade chive butter was also excellent. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the music stylings were en pointe for my taste. This is the kind of establishment I love to support.“
