“Fun for trivia and bar food! Service was good, but they were busy, especially during trivia night. She did her best and was grateful at the end of the night. The food was solid for bar food. Overall, I'd come back for a cheap drink, HH, or trivia.“

“This place was recommended on the Madison foodies Facebook group and we decided to try it out a couple days ago. We tried the salted pig pizza and it was amazing!!! Great service as well. I highly recommend and will definitely be back soon.“

“I would like to reiterate what Omar and Buka said in regards to TR’s and especially Mark. I have received nothing but courteous and professional treatment from everyone there, and would like to thank Mark for suggesting great cigars to try when I have been searching through the humidor. I would recommend TR’s over any establishment in Madison area.“

“I just hosted a baby shower where we ordered each kind of burrito. Most of the guests were NOT vegan however everyone enjoyed the burritos and many had seconds. We were given plenty of chips, salsa, and guac for the side that we had quite a bit extra. Very pleased and will order here again for a future event!“

“Great local neighborhood bar. Best whiskey bar in Madison. Also a very good craft beer selection and great beers on tap. With October almost here I had to stop by Bill's bar to try his Oktoberfest beer on tap and wasn't disappointed. It was great and a good size mug (see pic attached). You can find some of the most unique beer and premium whiskey selections in Madison. Great to support locally owned Madison establishments like the Malt House. There is no food kitchen, but you can get food delivered. Check out the Malt House Facebook page to see what nights local bands are playing here.Parking: If you get here early, there is a parking lot at the Malt House. On a busy night you may have to get nearby (free) street parking.“
“So mellow, and great for working! They have great WiFi and nice gluten free treats along with regular bakery. I had a latte rather than kava, but it was a tasty, pretty latte! They have a lot of board games too, and the coolest cribbage board I've ever laid eyes on! Also some kinda elevated shuffle-board thing that looks fun.Dietary restrictions: They've got options for gluten free people!Parking: There's two free lots a block away in either direction. One on Atwood, and then also the nearby church on Winnebago is cool with people parking there when services aren't in session, which is most of the time. They have a big lot. If you reeeeeellly don't want to walk AT ALL, you could try parking in the Tex Tubbs lot, but that's a little riskier! This place is right by Tex Tubbs.“

“Bustling area of Madison with great service and excellent food. This place has charm of an old Wisconsin tavern, love the new cozy space added inside. The brunch menu, Pastrami Hash, chef's kiss! Enjoy having the self service station for water/coffee.“
“Micheal the sales rep actually took the time to try to call the distributor and find this wonderful gluten free nector of the gods for my other half. What an awesome thing to call and actually have a human… and a kind one… on top of it she loved the Beer! Let us know if you want to open an alt up in Neenah !“

“Attended Muskellounge's Three Dots & A Dash collab. Drinks were spectacular, and the kitchen staff were on fire. We ordered a weekly special (burger/cheesesteak blend) and the chicken tender basket. 10/10 fantastic. I would strongly recommend checking this place out if you haven't yet.“

“First time at Crema Cafe. I was surprised to arrive midday on Tuesday and find it so extremely busy. I ordered the beets and greens salad, side of the homemade turkey sausage with a matcha latte. The food was very good, excellent flavors with spices in sausage and salad combo with grated cheese, cranberries and walnuts with golden beets and greens was really good.“

“Best ice cream in Wisconsin. ☺️ Very clean environment with a broad selection of rich wares to select from. It seems you really cannot go wrong, though I can strongly recommend the lemon poppyseed and the chocolate flavors. Just heavenly. There is a very pleasant little outdoor seating area around the back complete with umbrellas for shade.“

“Stopped after a game in hopes to find a little less crowded place vs. the bars near the Kohl center, good choice! Has that dive bar vibe, loved it! The service was great and the crowd was friendly. The food looked great but we didn't eat this time. They cook everything in the open right behind the bar. Decent amount of TV's for game watching, pool table, darts, gambling machines and a couple other bar games throughout. Would definitely stop again when in town:“

“Windsor Breads is a family favorite! They have my favorite coffee, great employees & wonderful owners! Super good treats from cookies, muffins, bread and cupcakes. Everything I have had over the years of going to Windsor Breads has been amazing!“
“This place is a true hidden gem. The outdoor space is great for kids, the cocktails are amazing and very reasonably priced. We hosted a private event here, and it was extremely reasonably priced, we had 10-15 kids that loved playing on the playground, and Doundrins staff was extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Doundrins for private events! We used to live close to Doundrins, and when we did we would put our small kids in the bike trailer and park the bikes there. The kids called it mommy and daddy's special park, because we could drink cocktails while the kids played on the playground. It's a great place to spend an afternoon, or a few hours after dinner!“

“a true community space with excellent coffee and food. They are on a first-name basis with everyone in the neighborhood. Judging by the quality of the thoughtfully sourced ingredients, their suppliers are just as much family as their customers. if you miss human interaction and home-style food, this is your coffee shop.“

“Happy to see this new location thriving! Coffee is good with variety of options available but not too many it becomes overwhelming - lots of options for tea drinkers as well! The food is amazing - highly recommend the Java Club as it was one of the best sandwiches i've had in a while - and in a market with ever increasing prices this place feels very fairly priced for what you get. Coupled with the fun atmosphere and art on the walls highly recommend checking this place out.Note that parking can be difficult - if busy times of the day parking across the street is much easier than hoping you can find a spot in the tiny parking lot“
“There is no question that this brewery is different, like their beer. Right when you walk up you'll know that this place is weird with a unique vibe. It has more of a warehouse/industrial atmosphere. A good space and bartender was friendly. The beers were good and they have a good tap list. They had a lot of unique interpretations on styles of beer. It's not a commercial mass appeal brewery but really feels like a place run by people who really love beer. We wish we had more time to sample more of their beers.“

“Been here a handful of times and never disappointed. Had not had the clam chowder before. Maybe the best I’ve had anywhere in the country with all due respect to all the Baltimore/East coast and west coasters. Obviously always comes down to choice but really nice balance of viscosity and flavor without being so creamy all it becomes is cream soup with potatoes and chunks of clams. I almost cancelled the fish and just got more soup…lake perch was a little undercooked but I knew I should’ve said ‘well done’ cuz they were busy, but didnt. Call that my fault. Fish was solid, clean and flavorful and not greasy or over breaded. Perfect level of batter, they just got antsy.“

“I always enjoy my meal at Monty’s! Last night 1/14/23 my sister and I picked Monty’s for dinner! The food was good, the server did a great job! BUT the floor was littered with all kinds of things napkins, smushed French fry, a knife other things! On my way to the bathroom I noticed all that . I stopped at the counter and ask a person who was the boss, they said that they were the manager! All I said to them was ( take a look at your floor) Shortly after returning to my booth! I watched him come and begrudgingly pick up 2 pieces of paper and aggressively throw it in a bus tub! And he picked up the hazardous knife! This is a very bad impression! It was maybe 6:pm and not as busy as usual! If I was a manager I would have gotten a broom and dust pan and made sure I got it all, or ask a staff member to do it! Thank you for the good meals and good service! But by the cleanliness of your restaurant I will think twice before coming back! Thank you“

“Every time I visit here, I witness how all the bartenders, servers and cooks work so hard especially Nichole, Alley and Artie. Even during the busy happy hour time, they are polite and always looking out for you. All you have to do is be patient and they will get to you. It's hard to find parking during happy hour but their specials are hard to beat.“

“It was very busy on a Saturday. We ordered two coffee flights and someone took them. We got refunded for one because they didn't have cups to make the second one. My food buzzer went off and it wasn't my order. I felt like things didn't go as smoothly as it should have. Just letting people know where to pick up drinks and food would be nice. I was not aware to pick up my drink at the end.Five Stars though, the vibe is amazing, food was great, coffee was awesome, and staff was very friendly. The live music on Saturday made the experience extra special. The decor was beautiful and the fall decorations made it feel like a comfortable place. I will definitely be back!“

“The first time my bf and I came here, we ordered the taco salad, a super burrito, and loaded fries. The burrito was really good. I hate it when I order a burrito from a Mexican restaurant and it's just dripping with juice. I know that's the flavor but it makes the wrapper soggy and hard to eat. But their burrito was not dripping and soggy. The meat had nice flavors, I just wish their rice had more flavor also. The loaded fries were so good. The meat ratio to fries was perfect. And the taco salad could have used a bit more meat. I went back for lunch a few days later and got their spicy shrimp platillos. The shrimp was so good and spicy. Cooked perfectly. Not dried and overcooked. But they give so little rice. I'm talking about 4-5 bites and it was gone. So I was left to eat my spicy shrimp with no rice. And as I mentioned earlier, I wish their rice had more flavor. But it was doable.“

“This is the very best Chinese food in Madison! I always ask for extra veggies to substitute for the rice and the woman who usually works the counter is always super friendly and very accommodating! Their flavor and freshness is awesome! 100% recommend this restaurant! Usually I get a stomach ache after eating Chinese but I always feel great after a lunch here!“
