“It would be hard to find a more authentic Wisconsin experience without driving deep into the state. Owner is a very nice guy, veteran, has worked there for years and took it over from the previous owner and has kept the history going. A friendly warm place.“
“Totally my kind of Vibe, Top shelf bourbon, Aged beef, deserts out of this world, cheeses, and so much more, great owners and staff, this was a gem to find in Wisconsin, im a huge foodie, and this pizza was THE best in Wisconsin, and is right there on top of my all time list!! A good meal makes your day, and this was a good day!!!“

“WHAT A HIDDEN GEM! In town visiting family over the 4th of July weekend. Needed to kill some time and looked for a cider place - viola! This place is off the beaten path, however, there was a steady flow of people on Saturday afternoon. We tried a couple of flights and they were all pretty great. Table favorite was the French Toast and Pina Colada.“

“Ordered some coffee and muffins for me and my coworkers and they were so yummy! They didn’t have any cinnamon swirl muffins left but they gave us two bran muffins and one pistacho muffin which was so amazing of them. The bran muffins are not like your ordinary bran muffins. They are sweet and moist, kinda like banana bread!“

“I have always loved going to Ledger. They make very good espresso and coffee. This morning I went in, and my mug was accidentally broken in the process of my drink being made, and they were so sweet to give me a replacement mug while I was there. The staff always goes above and beyond and I really appreciate it! They also sell Level 5 donuts which are sooo delicious and vegan!“

“1st time stopping here for lunch & we will for sure be back. I asked bartender Glen what the best sandwiches was & he said all of them. He was not wrong!! Owner & chef Micheal made the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. My husband, daughter & I tried each of our sandwiches the turkey, the classic,& pulled chicken. We couldn’t pick a favorite. The tomato bisque & mac n cheese were also amazing. The fun atmosphere was enjoyable to look at during the short wait. Highly recommend!!“

“Great all-you-can-eat sushi. Brought my 9 year old here for her birthday - we were both super happy with the food and left feeling satisfied.I really like that there's a kids price since they're not generally going to eat as much, and it helps make it more affordable.Everything we had tasted fresh and as good as I would expect. I liked both the snowstorm roll and the story lobster roll, and would generally recommend them.Just make sure you're not in a rush - they get busy and have a fairly small staff, so you'll probably end up with stretches of waiting. Overall, though, they do a great job of trying to keep things moving along - there's just so much that any given person can do. It's a comfortable and pleasant restaurant, so the wait is only a minor point“

“Kathy and Evan have provided a truly memorable experience. Fae and I were celebrating a combination Anniversary and Valentine's Day. Couldn't have had a more pleasant evening! Our waiter Jeremy, was outstanding, as was the supporting staff. The Piedmotse Soup was incredible, as was the Petoncles en Rivesaltes (among the best Scallops in Madison), seared Duck and the Gatau Banyu.Put Cadre Restaurant on your go to list.“
“Good beer, actually one of the best in town. Nice, strong, intense beer styles, some quite rare, no wimpy Mexican lagers or session IPAs in sight. Good, unobtrusive service, unlike some downtown pubs. No blaring TVs which is rare these days - a nice spot to enjoy beer, talk, or think.“

“Been a childhood favorite of mine, and still holds to be the best food in Madison despite new owners!! There are vegan options available which are good, but I still dream about the pizza kind of ones from when i was a kid ?? the crust is absolutely beautiful and cooked to perfection!!!!“

“We couldn’t find this place until we called the restaurant and were told that this place is a part of Feast Artisan Dumpling restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful, trendy and has a nice, relaxing vibe. The Poke bowls are a part of the Artisan Dumpling menu, so you can also order other things on the menu. I ended up getting Big Frog bowl with purple rice, which is their vegan bowl. You can also make your own bowls. We ordered at the restaurant for a takeout and the food arrived pretty quickly. While the poke bowl wasn’t exactly traditional, but it was delicious and so refreshing! The portion size is not too big either. I would highly recommend dinning in here.Vegetarian options: Has pre-made veggie bowl option or you can make your own.“

“Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Walked in and everyone was very pleasant. Ordered a special Octoberfest pizza which was bomb, rotating specials. They have a great relationship with their purchased goods and comes across in their food. Loved all the staff.“
“Micheal the sales rep actually took the time to try to call the distributor and find this wonderful gluten free nector of the gods for my other half. What an awesome thing to call and actually have a human… and a kind one… on top of it she loved the Beer! Let us know if you want to open an alt up in Neenah !“

“We got their baguette, signature sourdough batard, carrot cake and roast beef sandwich. I would say their breads are good but too crunchy to the point it is hard to eat. The roast beef sandwich was delicious but I wished they would toast it. Then again, their breads were too rustic and crunchy. Toasting it would be hard to consume and enjoy the sandwich. Now, moving for the desserts, the carrot cake was good and not overly sweet. Wished it had some nuts, raisins and carrots inside the cake. Overall, it has a lot of potentials, just wish the breads were not too crunchy.“

“I took my grandson for dinner last night and it was fabulous. We did the restaurant week offer and it was so good. The crab ragoon was the best I ever had, the soup dumplings were amazing and the dessert buns at the end with egg custard filling were so good. Will definitely be going back and enjoy other things on the menu also.Kid-friendliness: My grandson loved the décor and had to walk around and look at all the cool things they had on display and also absolutely loved the food.“

“This place has wonderful food and great drinks. Service was reasonably prompt and pleasant, food was delicious, drinks equally great. My only downside is expectations. When your times state 10:30 close, I expect 10:30 close. Instead, at 9:50 our table was told “We’re closing, but no rush, are you ready for the check?” This indeed insinuates that we should head out now. 40 min earlier than the advertised close. While finishing our drinks, all table’s chairs were being placed on the tables, a clear indication of closing. All tables chairs were on the tables except ours by 10pm. I totally understand a slow night, but as a manger, one should set expectations for customers regardless of current customer level. Instead they should set time for 10pm if this indeed is their existing typical closing time. Set a time, and stick to it. Again, food was delicious, from burger to cheese curds, it was all great. Please reevaluate your timings to align with your expectations. Nonetheless, thank you for the evening.“

“Had the Mickey's burger with super sexy fries and the Green Chili Pork appetizer. Everything was really good. Great hometown bar atmosphere and very good service. I didn't get my bartender's name but it was her birthday and she was really sweet.“
“IF is creative and amazing! My wife and popped in for a drink on a random Friday night and immediately fell in love with their drinks and service. After being there for about an hour we decided this was the place to have my wife’s birthday party. Hastings was very easy to work and helped plan an amazing party. They were able to curate an amazing drink menu and also have a creative N/A drink list. Since the Party was a brunch, many ppl enjoyed the different options. Both the night we popped in and the day of the party Kelsey took amazing care of us and our entire group. We had a large party, but the staff never struggled keeping up. We were also able to bring in our food for the brunch which was a plus. I cannot say enough about this place, I highly recommend for fun evening and especially a private party!“

“Daisy Cafe made our preorder of cupcakes extra early due to a winter storm and first of all, they tasted amazing. My child's class loved them! The price was so so reasonable. I will never make my own cupcakes for anyone's birthday ever again! And the folks that worked there were super friendly too. Thanks again!“

“I was originally a *1 Star* review because the bartenders here were pretentious and unpleasant. It appears those days have passed, as the new staff seem quite the opposite. Great spot with good selection of rotating craft beers. Dog friendly!“
“There is no question that this brewery is different, like their beer. Right when you walk up you'll know that this place is weird with a unique vibe. It has more of a warehouse/industrial atmosphere. A good space and bartender was friendly. The beers were good and they have a good tap list. They had a lot of unique interpretations on styles of beer. It's not a commercial mass appeal brewery but really feels like a place run by people who really love beer. We wish we had more time to sample more of their beers.“

“This place confounds me. What a great location for a restaurant. Wonderful courtyard for outdoor dining and a night time cocktail. Party lights are strung around the space creating a festive vibe. Ivy is starting to cover the exposed brick walls that surround the space. And most importantly, they have excellent food. And yet every business that I have visited in this space has struggled mightily to deal with the indoor/outdoor layout. Inside the flow is just awkward. You place your order at the counter and then it's hard to know how to get to the outdoor seating area. Eventually you pass by the kitchen server's window and find the door to the outside. Once seated in the back of the courtyard there is a view into the window of what must be an interior private office that is covered with random junk. If coming into the courtyard from the side walk entry you will see stacked up bike racks bike racks off to the side.Around the corner is an unused courtyard bar that is surrounded by junk. It's all a feng shui nightmare.Still, as I said, the food is excellent. The ingredients are all great quality. We came for a late breakfast/early lunch. I had a tuna melt (I know, but I have a thing for tuna melts). It was very tasty. Loved the bread and the melted cheese was perfect. My wife had the avacado toast. It had a lime marmalade that at first brought an interesting flavor but ultimately proved to be to overpowering. Less would have been more in this case. Inventive. We shared the rhubarb compote crepe. It's was excellent though it came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream that turned it more into a desert than we wanted it to be. My wife loved her ice tea. That's a big deal for her. The coffee was just what I needed.Overall, I really like this place. They just need to deal with the details of the space. Clean it up.Work on the flow. Put things in their place and draw some blinds.“

“I ate here three times while visiting Madison over Christmas '22. The food was consistently excellent, especially the dishes with mole. I am probably being too strict in terms of quality of service, as some of the difficulties arose from the large number of diners over lunch. But that is itself something positive - proof of how good the food is.“

“Ask for Bailey at the bar! Best Bloody Mary I've ever had!! Cheese curds were awesome too! Incredible customer service. Can't wait to go back! Was a little sad that you didn't have my size in a sweatshirt, not even online. :(But, hope to get one whenever you get more in.“
“I have only been to the bar area and courtyard but I can say Amanda is an absolutely fantastic bartender, and overall person and employee. I will absolutely return just to see her! Overall, the venue was gorgeous and I love the courtyard. I can’t wait to come back and try the food.“

“Made reservations for a Thursday night. I had the trout which was very good but my only complaint was that it was a little bit too salty. The veggies…very tasty! My husband and niece had the steak which had good flavor but described it as stringy. Had left over steak at home the next morning and we thought it was pretty good (but overpriced). If they are going to call themselves a supper club, a better steak option or a couple options might help. For the kids, they enjoyed the buttered noodles, French fries and cheeseburgers. Loved the atmosphere! Very good service!“

“Nice little Asian themed tea shop with a variety of tea bases along with any combination you prefer. We got macha tea and gong fu, both were very tasty with the latter taking some skill to pour. The service here is awesome though, the waitresses will teach you the technique if you don't already know how. They also serve decent lunch, we got the beef noodle broth which was very rich and flavorful but lacking an authentic taste. We also got pork meat baos, they were more average with non-exciting flavors. The other downside are the small portion sizes.Overall great experience, would recommend for the tea and some food items since there's a paucity of Asian cuisines in Madison. Good ambience and service!“

“I got the GBLT, tomato dill soup, side salad with ceaser dressing, orange Dream shake, and German chocolate cake. They definitely loaded up with the bacon and fries. The side salad is like any other side salad. The orange Dream Shake is definitely a dream! I'm never disappointed. The cake is dry and lacking in flavor. The food is very filling, if you don't eat a lot you can definitely get one order for two people!“

“Nice upscale restaurant. Fits perfectly on Monroe St. Staff was very helpful, including telling us how a menu item could be modified to make it less spicy. Not a huge menu, but big enough so you can find something you like. But I would encourage you to try something new, maybe out of your comfort zone, which is what I did.“

“Eh. Only okay, I was hoping they'd have their own beer. Service was fine but took forever to get our check. The food was very average. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, the spice was very mild and the ratio of chicken to bread was way off.“

“Grabbed a take-out Good Idea Smashburger and fries on my way through town. So good!! Patties were perfect, flavor of the pickles was yummy. Not too many onions, just enough for good flavor! Fries were crispy and salty enough. Service was great and welcoming when I arrived. Took food to go, but the ambiance looked inviting when I picked up my food. Definitely recommend!“

“We are so blessed to have stumbled into this beautiful winery while on vacation from Florida. The owner and his team were amazing. The customer service was outstanding. We enjoyed tasting the wine, listening to their story, seeing the vineyard and learning the wine making process. We were excited to bring wine back with us. Thank you for making us feel welcome and like we were part of the Drumlin Ridge family.“
